Agree, looks interesting, but then I saw the price...

True...but there are other swing speed training devices that are cheaper, so would have to feel confident that it is THAT much better. Currently using the Maxswingspeed guy’s training aid and have pretty good gains from that.

PXG 0211 (15)

PXG 0211 (19)
PXG Gen 6 0311P 5-AW

srs point, this sort of rubbish reminds me of all the bodybuilding routines of the pro's (which I used to be into).. 4 sets of this, 2 of that, 12 reps here, only 8 there..

it was all pseudo scientific bunkum. So is this. Theres no magic 'system', you certainly dont need to spend hundreds of dollars on a few bits of steel.

Yes, I have no doubt it will increase your speed, but so will holding a club upside down (lighter), swinging two or three at a time, swinging wrong handed etc etc..

  • Thanks 1

I think I saw somewhere on YouTube that Mark Crossfield was testing this program, might have been a week or so ago. Maybe he will have a video coming out on it soon.

I completely disagree.  As someone who was having trouble gaining weight with standard body building routines back in the day - I found that there were plans that worked significantly better than others (like Starting Strength), and successfully got much bigger and stronger for competitive basketball.

Weight, rest, and reps were all absolutely key (3x5 was much more effective than 3x12, etc.).

Having an app that helps to keep you on schedule and track progress will undoubtedly lead to better results, and from what I've seen from Shasho - he's done his research - he's not just throwing together next month's "5 tips for bulging biceps" article.

I'm not rushing to spend $350 more to "upgrade" from Superspeed - but the app alone would be a welcome departure from my Google Sheet progress tracker.

OG Stealth Graphite Design Ventus TR 60X

Ping 425 Max Hotmelted Tensei Orange 1k

Epon AF 302, TI X100

Yes but then you’re comparing a strength routine to a traditional bb routine.. they aren’t trying to do the same thing.

its a weight on a stick, the same as any other.
