I would appreciate your feedback on my fitting specs vs. used options. Ping g400 LST

I recently got fitted for a new driver at Club Champion. They fitted me with a Ping g425 LST head and an Oban Devotion 6 03 shaft, which weighs 66 grams.

Unfortunately, the g425 is way out of my price range. Instead, I am looking to buy the Ping g400 LST used online. However, the shafts that come with the used options are either the stock or upcharge shafts for the g400. I was wondering if you guys would consider any of these other shaft options to be similar to the Oban Devotion 6 03 shaft:

Here are the stock/upcharge g400 LST shafts for comparison: https://www.spargogolf.com/pages/ping-g400-driver-shaft-options

Project X HZRDUS Yellow 65 5.5 (71 g):

Alta CB 55 Stiff (59 g)

Ping Tour 75 Regular (68 g)

Ping Tour 65 Stiff (57 g)

Thank you for your input!

Something to keep in mind is that Ping reports cut weight for their shafts while manufacturers report uncut weight.  So the OBAN weight, when cut, will probably be similar to the Ping Tour 65's weight you give above.

As for an alternative shaft, I find that a large part of a shaft working well for me is the feel, so if you got on well with the OBAN, I'd recommend trying to find the OBAN to go with your G400 rather than trying to find something else like it.

My regular playing partner has the same experience of being fit into the expensive oban shaft at club champion.

He bought the cobra head here on the bst, and used the titleist shaft chart

https://www.titleist.com/fitting/golf-club-fitting/golf-shafts

To find a similar spec shaft to the oban version saving hundreds and has been crushing it.

Of those, I’d say Ping Tour 65. You may consider getting the best value you can for the head, regardless of shaft, then doing the same process for the shaft and marry them.

Last year I picked up a like-new Titleist hybrid for about $50, presumably because nobody wanted the lady shaft in it. It didn’t matter to me since I bought the shaft I wanted separately for $30 or so.

Thanks for the advice guys. I want to try and get the g400 and the shaft in the same purchase, partially because I am impatient and want to game it sooner than later.

Let's say I go with the Ping Tour 65 as my pseudo replacement for the Oban Devotion 6 03, would regular flex or stiff flex be better based on the picture I originally posted?

Here's the specs for the Ping shaft:

Keep in mind that there is no standard way of measuring torque, but assuming that the measurements are similar, the chart shown in the link below would put the torque of the PING 65 stiff shaft closer to the torque on the OBAN.  And the low/mid launch listed for the stiff also suggests that it would be a better match.  I've never hit the OBAN so I can't really say for sure.

Wow. Once again what a crazy coincidence that Club Champion fit someone into a shaft that happens to not be available as a stock or upgrade option from the manufacturer. What are the chances??

I think the chances are high!  A friend got a driver fitting with them a year or so ago.  He's got a swing flaw where he tends to reverse weight shift and flip his hands to recover, hitting the ball low on the face, leading to lots of driver spin.  They fit him into a G410 LST with the HZRDUS Smoke Green PVD.

FWIW, I think the Tour 65 plays a little softer than other shafts I have played, but I am pretty sensitive to tip waggle (hate it). I play stiff in just about everything, but I got an X in the Tour 65.  From a high level recommendation, I recall being right on the border of S and X at about 104 MPH. Numbers were about the same with both. The feel was the tie breaker and I went X.
