If you were buying a low spin driver head from the last 3 years, which would it be?

Looking for a low spin driver. Only need the head. I wanna pair it with a Velocore Blue. I’m open to all brands except Titleist. Just don’t care for their clubs. What should I get??

If I was looking for a crazy low spin head I'd be tempted to try and find a 9° M5 tour head and slap both those weights forward

Well the lowest spinning driver for me was the FT-9TA but that's a classic from over 10 years ago.  I've tested the Epic Max LS and that's on the lower spin side, but not even close to the FT-9TA.  I would recommend the SLDR but that's an oldie as well.

If a Mavrik SZ is low spin and that's what you need get it!  I love mine and the driver got my so called "launch conditions" in a good place according to the guy that fit me and was proven in a big way on the course when I got to play with it last fall.  So personal, though, and I'm sure shaft was a big part of the equation as well.

Go to CPO and check out the “tour certified” Epic Flash SZ single, double, and triple diamond drivers they have on sale.  I’m sure those will answer the low spin needs

Sim is fantastic. It has some forgiveness vs a low spin beast like the SLDR. Mavrik Sub Zero is  also really low spin.

Usually people playing 6 hybrids aren't looking for lowest spin possible. Why do you think you need a low spin head? This question completely depends on what your current numbers are and why they are as they are. You might not have the speed to keep some of these heads in the air. Like it would be very unusual for someone to have a 6 iron hybrid and also play a SIM driver.

Well I played a Flash SZ before this. I liked it but I’m always changing clubs. I don’t like long irons. No problem keeping a driver in the air

What unit is that from, I don't recognize that output. 

 

If the numbers are right the launch is low and the spin is high, indicating likely a low on the fact impact. 

 

Lots of LM just aren't accurate though. Do those carry and total numbers match up to what you get on the course?
