@ibraheim505: Golf Channel iOS App shows Sergio had 29 putts in R1.

To have a rock hard green on 18, far different than the rest, seems a little unfair. I wonder how many late players saw the early coverage and aimed toward the front and middle of the green?

Anyone know what happened with Na? I saw PGA Memes making fun of him for throwing clubs into the water, but can't find any videos so not sure if they're just exaggerating.

Na apparently cited a back injury as the reason for his WD but I bet it got a lot worse after dunking those balls at 17.

It is kinda lame but at the same time, it's not like he's hurt anyone by not playing tomorrow given he's not going to make the cut.  It's different than going three holes and WD when you could have just given your spot to someone else.

Some guys like to wear red on Sunday out of respect for TW, but Sergio is going to hit 3 into the water on Sunday to pay tribute to his duel with TW like 10 years ago. Then he'll blame it on TW for pressing his TV remote control too loud. Truly a class act.

Just looking at the fact that they never got finished yesterday. I get that conditions were tough. There seemed to be a huge amount of water balls but honestly, wow, that is incredible that they didn’t get finished. They teed off at 6.45am and some players still have 4 holes to complete on what was a fine day weather wise.

Yep, scripts come easier that way. I still can't believe he crossed a concrete median then drove into oncoming traffic before going airborne into trees then flipping the vehicle. I'm sure he's now had time to realize what could have happened if a school bus full of kids was in that lane he was travelling in despite two prior similar incidents. How will he address this?

 

Everyone has talked about what a great man Tiger has evolved into joking with others, etc. while taking on human characteristics. We will see the real human being as he responds: a) having been negligent for x,y,z reasons even though we all know he was higher than hell on pain meds given physiological symptoms (bloating under eyes, head bobbing, weird laughter)/mannerisms in the media...just admitting fault would count for something or b) blaming it on the infrastructure or vehicle like Meghan Markle would do.

 

  It would be refreshing if he, and everyone else, could put this in perspective for others who don't have common sense to understand there's more to this than Tiger having a wreck. I know people in that area and they are incensed that community members could have been killed.

Dude was talented, one of the best drivers ever! If majors were 54 holes, the guy would have the career grand slam.
