I never get the "been off for a while part"; as a pro you would think they could fix it with enough time; or, at least devise a game plan to get around the course. Nicklaus did that at times with a 1 iron when it didnt work, I guess the course is too long now? 

 

Bad rounds happen I know, DJ shot 80-80 in one tournament last year.

It's perfectly normal to struggle while adjusting to such a major life change.  I'm sure their level of "hunger" changed a bit too as priorities had to be readjusted.  

 

They'll get the fire back.

They carry more than 6, id say most bags have about 10-12 in them (especially on this course).

Buddy of mine I've known for 30 years and is prolly around a 5 or 6 played it last year - shot something like 98. Said the biggest thing you just don't get from TV is how insane the greens are.
