GC QUAD

I have a friend that plays a club longer than me, but on the GC QUAD he is two clubs shorter. Any solutions?

Who's distances from the course match up with the Quad?

My distances are much more accurate on the Quad. For example his normal driver is roughly 270+ carry and averaging like 220 carry on quad. Normal 8 iron for him is 160 and averaging around 130 on quad. Trying to make it fun for us in the winter, but he gets pretty frustrated.

Why is it going shorter, do they have similar speeds as you, do they have more spin, etc. You need to look at the numbers which will explain why its saying the ball is going shorter. No one can help you explain otherwise. Some people just don't swing the same insides or take time to get used to it.  Are they a good player? People's mechanics get worse over winter.

He is a 2 handicap, so I would say he is a decent golfer. The spin numbers seem to be a little higher for him, but not a lot different than mine.

There has to be a fundamental reason in the numbers, like his ball speed will be 20 mph slower than yours or the spin on a driver will be 1500 RPM higher.

Yes his spin is reading quite high. Probably at least 1500 higher. And ball speed is also lower. Is it just because it is indoor and possibly swinging differently?

This could be true. My swing speed and distances were horrendous the first month we had ours. I am crushing it now, but it seemed to take a bit before I swung nearly as hard inside as I do outside. I've even used simulators at my previous course and it still took time to actually commit to a swing, it bothered me quite a bit that the GC quad is right next to the clubhead instead of behind you.

There isn't anything wrong with the Quad if your numbers are accurate. He's just swinging differently. Most likely a combination of not swinging much over the winter, getting out of shape, and "indoor swing syndrome".
