Good driver shaft for my Dad’s 90-100mph SS?

My dad had a Cobra Speedzone with an Evenflow 60S in it and he’s having his second hip replaced next week. I want to find him a good 50-55 gram driver shaft that still has some stability in it. He’s still a good player, strikes it well, but just wants a little more pop off his driver. Let me know if you’ve got any recommendations please. Thanks!

Evenflow blue 55g or maybe Tensei blue 55 or 50. I’ve played  both in stiff flex in prior drivers with good success for me.

What do you mean by "pop?"  Shafts don't provide propulsion so the only way he will achieve extra distance is either through improved launch, spin, or added swing speed because of lighter weight (which will be minimal.)  What exactly is the problem now?

I mean a lively feeling shaft. The evenflow is too heavy, it launches too low and spins too low. 

Thanks for the physics lesson, but I’m all good there. Just looking for shaft recommendations from guys who’ve possibly used the Speedzone and who also swing it around 90-100mph.

I might suggest waiting until he's able to get properly fit to optimize his driver.

I think what people are trying to say is the shaft itself changes very little.  The shaft may dramatically change what the player feels and how they swing the club.  But feel is subjective so its hard to say.  Generally speaking, I'd say any of the Mitsubishi "Blue" shafts for this speed range but it depends on a lot of other things.  I lightweight D+ could also work fine or a wet noodle depending on the player.  Or just try a lighter/softer Evenflow.

Maybe loft up to get a better trajectory/spin?  The Diamana blue board profile is a nice option in my opinion.
