I'm switching over to Hi Toe's from Callaway's, they look really nice, but more importantly, they have better distance control, i feel.

Those C tapers are really great, just recently treid them and  they feel awesome.

Sim2 look really interesting.

Not sure, didn't have SIM long enough to compare, furthermore only played 10 rounds in the cool Ontario spring until they locked us golfers down (Don't ask, please)...

 

A better point of comparison is M5, and early indications are M5 was longer, but SIM2 is more forgiving/accurate. I'll be in a better position to say once we get to play in the warmth of late May/early June.

Decided to ditch the 'Hydro Blasts', just didn't like the long slant and the finish was not as attractive as the 'Chalk' or 'MySpider X' black...

 

Anyway, actually been hitting w/my Patina Soto since the beginning of the season and the blade is really rocking it at the moment (Have ALWAYS preferred the look of a blade, but seemingly putt better w/a mallet).

 

In honour of this, decided to partake in the 'My TP' blade program! (Yes, I have issues)...

How are you liking the SIM 2 woods and Hybrid...as good as advertised?

No, I don't work for them, or sponsored in any way. Just love their products and have been a long time 'non-staffer' (Their loyalty program is good, but you would think I'd get a bit more love LOL!)...

 

The fairways and hybrids seem to be marked improvements year over year - I find the drivers are marginal improvements, I had the SIM Driver for a short amount of time in the early winter, indoor simulator use only before I decided to upgrade to SIM2, so most of my comparison is M5. 

 

Early days in the Great white north, and no question SIM2 is more forgiving, but M5 seemed to be a bit longer/straighter. SIM2 has a definite fade bias which is a bit more predictable and has me hitting more fairways, but once again M5 was a bit longer seemingly. 

 

I'll save ultimate judgement for the end of the season, once again early days!!
