You crazy people are in here talking about replacing MP20s and acting like the MP5s are a vintage classic and I’m in the corner still playing 68s 😅

Not sure Mizuno has ever made a bad single piece forging. Always excited what they come up with though, I love their highly iterative approach with the MP lines rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. A bunch of small tweaks can add up to impactful changes over time. Maybe the 22s will be what knocks my 68s out for good... or maybe I’ll keep holding them until I can afford that NCW set I covet.

I agree.. I got hooked on them with the MP33's.. have had every model since then.. they make excellent irons...

I’ll be getting a set of MP-22s when they’re released. I tried my friends MP-4s and made the horrible mistake of nutting one and I’ve hated myself ever since trying to recreate that feeling with my clubs.

I feel your pain! I miss my MP-32’s and dream of finding an iron set that recreates the mojo the 32’s gave me. The 921T is darn close and I just about pulled the trigger on a set but opted for more forgiveness in the 921F.

I just put MP32s in play after playing a mixed set of MP18s the last couple of years. I have my eyes on a set of MP37s on the electric bay.

MP32s are my backup set.  Take them out for a spin a few rounds each year.  I still get the same surreal, magical feeling when flushing one.  I'll never let them go.

I tend to look at the prior year's model when the new stuff comes out.  Guess its time to go check out the 20s...

I’m looking forward to the mp22 line, but mostly because they usually produce some aesthetically pleasing irons.  But, to be honest I think the company is having an identity crisis right now.  3 mp irons and 3 JPX irons that have a lot of crossover.  I’d love to see them return to an mp line with a blade, players cavity and a dual cavity (mp53), leaving the hollow heads and other gimmicks for the JPX line.  They need more distinction between irons with fewer JPX offerings.

The HMB is a solid and popular performer. It will not be going away.. The hollow body forged club is very in vogue at the moment. I would prefer they just put it on it a diet and streamlined it a bit.

I agree, it is the flavor of the month right now.  I just think it fits a bit better on the JPX line.  Those hollow body irons are more of a distance club and that’s always been the JPX line versus the more traditional mp offerings.

Sure, I get that. The HMB is still as classy an iron as there is though. So it still fits. Very interested to see what they do with this line this year.

I just got MP-20s and they are maybe the friendliest blade I've ever played. I don't know what they can do to improve but I'll be in these for a long time.
