I found the Apex 18 MB'S extremely forgiving and wonderful to play. As soft feeling as many of my Mizuno blades. 

Definitely one of the finest Callaway irons

ever. I look forwrd to seeing and playing the new Mizuno blades, hopefully later this year.

I tottaly agree.. im at the point where i find these kind of irons better for my game then a gi iron... maybe i just dont give myself enough credit as a golf ball striker... im not great obviously lol but i can strike it well. Im not a long hitter at all but i can hit ny distances and thats all im looking for... i dont need more because i dont play tour golf. Unless your hitting a 7 iron 110yrd i dont think many ppl need more distance unless competing on tours. Just find consistency is what counts for us mortal golfers.

I thought the MMC's were softer than my Miura CB57's.  

Noticeably softer.

Would you buy the MP20s for a 4th of July sale or possibly wait 6 months for the mp22’s? 200$ off sounds enticing but would like all of your opinions before making any decision. 

Haven’t bought a new set of irons since 2015.

I'd wait, you also may decide to go with the 22's. The 20's are gonna go out the door real quick once the 22's are out, so they'll be able to be had for a good price.

Open Week usually is MP irons week. Well, every second year and prior to the pandemic it was. We'll see. I hope for a nice successor to the HMB as I am going for a new driver and irons this fall
