Hopefully they improve upon the HMB (TM 770 esque). That might just be Mizuno's most over-hyped, yet under performing, club ever. But, I'm sure they sold a ton of them... for some unknown reason.

I find it fairly forgiving and as long as the JPX921F. Great set.

I actually loved the shape of the mp 18 line. More squared off and sharper lines.  The mp 20’s look more rounded off to me.  However, the mp 20’s feel pretty amazing!  Would love to see them bring back the diamond cavity design a la 53, 64, 66 but with more refined shaping.  Can’t wait to see what they come up with.

I've played lots of rounds of golf with the following Mizuno iron models:

MP63

MP69

MP15

MP4

MP5

All of the above had the same shaft and produced similar shots; two notable difference were the muted impact sound of the MP15 and the relatively large size head of the MP5. My favorite of the above five models is the MP63 so that is the set I kept and have within my bag.

Srixon H65  19* 3 hybrid and 22* 4 hybrid

Mizuno MP63 5 thru 9-iron

MP63 was a truly outstanding iron, especially for a cavity back

MP33s😆

Seriously, I've a set of MP4s, and the MP18s didn't fill the spot. MP5s were pretty nice, and I like the MP20s, but they're perhaps not what you'd call relatable to the MP4s. So, I guess the answer is MP33s, more MP4s, or wait?

I would love them to offer the MMC in SEL or whatever bone they decide to throw to us lefties. I see no reason to purchase another set of blades, the MP20s are great, can't see any reason to buy blades/mb since I already own the 20's.

They definitely will before the 22s come out. I ordered my 919F about 2-3 weeks before 921s dropped. 4-PW with DG tour issue shafts to my door for $900 and change. I actually like the 919s over the 921s so it was a win/win.

I guess you're right on the wait. I tested some Ben Hogan Icons 2 days ago, not even close. I guess the next best from what I've read are the 20s for recent irons.

I'd love to see some more options for lefties! Could we please get a full set of blades or at least have the SEL set with 6-PW in the MB and the 5-3 in the MMC! I got rid of my set of Mp-20's SEL's specifically because the HMB's just weren't doing it for me...

I’d take anything lefty from Mizuno. Not to start a b****fest, but the 919 forged is likely the last set of Mizuno’s I’ll own. It’s a joke really. Almost every manufacturer has made significant strides in expanding their lefty portfolio...except Mizuno.

I've been thinking about this as I look at the faces of my irons starting to show signs of wear over 2 years of use now.  What do I really want in the MP-22 line?  I want an MMC 4-7 iron that has soles that are thinner or closer in width to the blade, touch higher COG perhaps, and a 8-PW that is basically a blade with some tungsten added for a little extra forgiveness that keeps the COG forward and high like a blade.  I also think the mmc should be in traditional loft gaps (5* short irons is too much IMO, fix the cog is lofts need to be a full 2* strong perhaps?). Also, continue to offer the $ taper without an up-charge.

On a positive note, Mizuno is now offering the new project x IO and LS shafts at no up-charge! I am kinda bummed because I just ordered a set of 921 forged last week and I’d have totally gone with the LS!

I ordered a set of 921’s a couple of months ago and Mizuno’s lead time was about 4 weeks. If you’re just a week out any chance you can change your order? Might be worth a phone call. All they can do is say no.

I'd expect info mid-July. Probably be able to order in the fall. I see my MP20 pre-order went out on Sept 5 2019 which was the first day you could order. Looks like I got them Sept 25. This was well before covid had any affect on the supply chain. So if you are ordering a custom set, ballpark in hand will be late Sept to Thanksgiving I'd imagine, if you order early and if they stay consistent with the MP20 release dates.

I'm starting to think I should've bought the HMB's instead of the G425's. The G425's are sooooo clicky. I tested the HMB's (side by side with G425's but after I had already bought the G425's) and the feel of the HMB's was a lot better. A lot more spin too, which I'm not sure I want. HMB's were about 7-9 yards shorter, which I'm not sure I want. I'm interested to see what 7i loft Mizuno does for the next generation HMB's. If it's 32 again maybe I'll just order them 1 degree strong.

I hit the Srixon ZX7's and they were good, but didn't have quite the same great feel that my MP 18 SC's have.  As a few others have said they tried to do something unique for Lefty's but my hope is that they continue on with the Split Cavity being available.  I doubt they will, but I can hope.

I'll be doing a club champion fitting over the winter so I will see what/if anything gives better feel and numbers.
