The first advanced technology ever offered in a muscleback iron

MacGregor has combined classic feel and control with their newest V-FOIL SPEED technology. On-center shots come off the face faster and longer. Off-center shots come off almost as fast with little distance loss. The result: the world's most powerful and forgiving blades.

The longest 3,4,5 and 6 musclebacks you will ever hit

# V-FOIL SPEED technology for hot ball response and unbelievable distance.

# Forged and milled 1045 carbon steel for feel and shot consistency.

# 3 & 4 - low, deep tungsten weights inside the muscle for maximum power and high launch; 5 & 6 - progressive V-FOIL positioning and the elimination of tungsten weighting moves the CG slightly higher for increased spin and trajectory control.

Solid shot shaping and workability in the 7-PW

# Forged and milled 1025 carbon steel (softer than the 1045 used in the long irons) in a classic construction to create maximum spin and control in the scoring irons.

# Progressive V-FOIL weighting and the elimination of tungsten weighting moves the CG to its highest point behind the club face for precise ball control.

# Substantially thicker club face for ultimate feel and distance control.

Tour Inspired Design

# Forged and milled for the most precise musclebacks ever made.

# Rolled leading edge, cambered sole, classic profile.

# 100% satin nickel chrome finish for durability.

# Milled "V" groove scoring lines.

# True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts.

# Golf Pride Tour Velvet

I have not hit them but I think they are a great looking blade. I was considering them before I bought my current irons.

The short irons are the cleanest, squarest, most solid short irons MacGregor has put out for a long time.. The long irons feel and sound different but not in a bad way. The only club that looks off is the 4 iron. It seems to be too chunky for a blade. I view the 2-3 irons almost as hybrids so the thickness is quite pleasing to the eye and also gives confidence. These are the easiest non-offset muscle back clubs to hit on the market period!

I never thought that i would find a set of irons that i liked better than the Ping S59s i was playing. That was

until i hit the Macgregor M675 Forged Blades. Needless to say "in the bag they went" along with 52* gap, 56* sand and 60* lob Macgregor Tour wedges. The S59s played great but lack the fell of the forged m675s. I picked up about 5 yards in the long irons (3-6 irons) as well. Wont be giving these up any time soon. :drinks:

I've played the full season with these irons and I love everything about them. With the short irons I feel I can step up and stick it close every time. I hit the ball a good bit further with these irons.

I love the way the irons look both in the bag and when setting up to the ball.

The only negative I can think of is that the grooves on these clubs almost are too good. The PW, 9 and 8-irons seems to be eating golf ball covers as if they were going out of fashion. Have played with ProV1, Maxfli BlackMax and Srixon Z-URS and the same result with all of them (although slightly worse with the Srixon where I basically have to exchange the ball after a couple of shots with the short irons).

I used to play with the TM RAC OS, so obviously it was a significant change to blades. They are of course not as forgiving as the RAC OS, but you can shape the ball at will with these.

Have brought my handicap down from 5 to 2 this season so definitely no plans to replace these irons anytime soon.

Expecting great things from mine - they feel great, still adjusting to the long irons after not playing with a 3 & 4 in the bag since I started playing but overall very impressed. I feel like if I have to really rip it I can with the long irons without really being punished and the short irons feel like butter. The milled faces look really cool and want to get some of those MacGregor wedges now.

i have been playing these for a few months now i ordered a custom set from macgregor. they are shinny crome instead of being brushed. they dont have the face milling. and the toe is a bit more squared off. Also had the leading edge blunted a little to prevent digging. i love these irons i have them with x100 shaft kinda want to put the black gold shaft put in i think that would add a yard or two more i get with these clubs.

Driver: Paradym 3D Ventus black TR 6x

3 wood: Paradym 3d Ventus black TR 7x

19 degree UW: Ventus black TR 8x

Wedges - Jaws raw 50, 54, 59 KBS $ taper 130x

Putter- Odyssey Vesa 12 center stroke lab shaft.

Sounds like you got a different set of irons.

I've played mine a few times now, and there was no honey moon for me as i switched them in and went through a swing struggle because i hadn't played in two weeks. I now have gotten things back in order and after switching from ping i3+ i can say that these definitely force me to hit the sweet spot, but in a good way. The 3 iron is not intimidating at all, which i thought it might be, and the rest of the set is very smooth. i had mine fitted to 1 degree upright, my fitter said the lofts were not consistent, i got mine for $200 at edwin watts, whether or not this contributed to this i'm not sure but i would get any forged clubs fitted because of them being softer.
