The '19 Callaway Apex hybrids are great choice.   Glad I found mine after not getting along with other hybrids in the past.

I loved the 2016 Apex! So this is a very natural transition.

I love the look of those Cobra irons and think they are the best looking of the irons in that catagory. If I could ever break away from Ping irons those Cobras are at the top of my list.

Hopefully you get out and play soon.

Holy crap that’s a lot of lead tape. Why not hot melt it with some cement.

It's actually thin lead tape and a bit lighter than normal tape. So it's not quite as bad as it looks!

The headcover is 100% to confuse people. Like you say, no politics intended by me either one way or the other. it's more just funny that I would have it. I'm in my 30s and Canadian, it was the most random one I could find

It's going to be a lot of fun playing in tournaments with a bunch of French Canadians and seeing if anyone asks about it. I'm undecided on if I tell them it's a joke or if I lecture them on Reaganomics

Both putters look great, and the whole bag looks sharp.

That Reagan-Bush head cover is a great find. It's clearly new (as in made for modern era clubs); does this mean there is someone designing head covers using old political posters and slogans?

It got me thinking about using old British election slogans on head covers. After a bit of research, I came up with this:

Driver: Forward, Not Back     (2005, Labour)

4w: A Real Alternative      (1997 UK Independence Party)

7w: Time for Common Sense       (2001 Conservatives)

Hybrid: Put Recovery First       (Welsh Lib Dems, in 2021 Welsh assembly election, apparently)

So many to choose from for the putter, but since I'm a terrible putter, I'd probably go with:

The Challenge of Our Times (1983 Conservatives)

LOL, the Reagan/Bush one i think is fairly popular as a nostalgia piece. It's long enough ago now that i doubt people will get too upset. Plus that ticket won with basically a unanimous electoral college win, so they were very popular overall and i think the idea is that it is just nostalgia to a simpler time if you will

That being said, for me it's kind of more comedic, as i'm not old enough to have been around then. And i've lived in french Canada my whole life. So i think it will be funny having people ask me about it. Like i told Stu i may just memorize all of the bills and stuff they passed and tell people about it when they ask, and play it like i'm some political historian...haha

That's a good idea though ! If they made headcovers to former canadian prime ministers i'd consider it too ....but i don't think anyone remembers our leaders, even us

Thumbs up for Cobra 🙂 - nice.

I'm a big fan of the F9 Tour woods, i think one of the best clubs i have in my bag.

Wasn't too impressed by their wedges though, feel too hard for my opinion.

I've never been able to get along well with their drivers, except the F8+ for a little bit. I couldn't hit the F9. Never got along with the F6+ either

Fairways are a different story, love them. Have the regular F9 and the Tour.

Haven't really tried the wedges yet! First Cobra wedge i've owned since the famous Phil Rodgers rusty one!

The only one of your leaders I remembered was from back in my trucking days when I ran Canada some for Ontario Hydro. Do not know if I spell it right but his name was Moroni or something like that. But honestly the only thing I knew about him was what I read on Truck Stop Bathroom walls and on bathroom walls at Tim Horton's.  So I guess I have a Canadian Truck Stop education on him.

I think I have told you before but I have quite a few Canadian Snowbird friends ( missed them this year BTW) and one explained to me about the Hockey shot and method that translates to the golf swing and why most of them are lefties. In fact one of them every year when they come down brings me a case of H&P Steak Sauce

Tim Hortons is a Canadian institution, and for a while one of the greatest things we had ever done LOL. I mean it basically ran every other likewise business out of the country (for those of you that don't know , Tim Hortons is like a Dunkin Donuts style restaurant. Fast food but they have a lot of decent stuff that is fairly healthy and people worship the coffee)

The quality has suffered a bit lately, not sure if it has to be with the fact they were acquired a few years back. But at least here it feels like the ingredients have gotten shoddier and half the time i get the wrong thing.

I literally had a social media thing that went a bit viral here amongst my network at Tim Hortons inability to make toast with butter. They literally couldn't butter toast for a good year or so. It became a thing for me. I'd get bread with no butter on it and etc

I guess it is like here Quality has flown out the window and went to you know where. I was just discussing this with my wife about Timmie's and she pointed out it has been 30 years since we have went to Canada. Yep 91 because that is when we sold our trucks and got out of being Independant Owner Operators

Tim Hortons quality has gone down a lot in the last few years. They don't make very many donuts anymore, went all muffin and pastries and they are terrible.

Even the tea isn't what it used to be.

Right!!!!

I'm glad i'm not the only one who's noticed. Everything feels a lot more "processed" than it used to be. Their sandwiches are still OK, like that crispy chicken they did for a while....But i feel like the breakfast stuff is all rubber and you're right, they never have a good donut selection anymore
