Radspeed fairway is in!

Only took about 2 weeks  - order to delivery!

 

Same shaft as my driver and other 3 wood (Exotics EX-10) - although a different paint scheme on the newer version of the shaft

Range session.

I just got a ping 5 wood a few days ago.  I hit it well, sound is not a make or break thing for me.

 

With that said....the Cobra sound is so much better.  Nice muted thud at impact.  This thing is a hammer.  Very solid.

I briefly had an F9 3 wood...Rad seems incrementally better (setup look, feel, sound, results).

I have been playing the F9 tour 3 and 5 since release, love them, but that 3w is small, intimidating off the tee some days.

 

i really like the look of this head, been some solid reviews. I just ordered a stock black 3w with the stock Motore from DD’s, can’t wait to get it, love those cobra rails

Picked up a RAD 3W in peacoat this week with the Golftown trade-in event.

 

Popped my AD-TP-8 into it and hit it on the simulator today. Very solid. Super solid feel, great feel. Better distance than the F9 4W that it replaced. Good launch and spin characteristics.

 

Looking forward to hitting it on the course.

Love the anti-skymark shaped face. Regardless of one actually doing it or not, it could be a huge confidence boost for a "there-is-no-tomorrow" type of swing from time to time.

Everything going back to the F6 uses the same adapter.

Well, 6 weeks later, finally got it.

 

easy to hit, exceptional off the turf, not had a chance to use off the tee yet, but definitely more forgiving that F9 tour.

 

it seems longer also.

Only fairways that compete, on looks, with my 17 m2, are cobras.

I got the RAD Speed Tour 5 wood last week.  I was using the M3 3HL, and the RAD speed is more consistent.  I'm playing it at 16.5*, and it launches higher for me than the M3, and it's more forgiving for my swing, even though it's smaller.  The rails are great, and I was surprised about how much I like the Motore F1.  I have a Diamana Whiteboard 80s that's coming in today that I'm going to toss in it.  I like something a bit heavier in my fairways.

Even further back to Bio cell will work. Anything after the AMP woods will work. Just different markings on the adapter through the years. And fairways and drivers are compatible

I am shocked at the lack of discussion around the new fairway woods. I have had the new 3w for about a month now, phenomenal club.

 

I ordered with stock FX3, but don’t like grip, so put my Hzrdus smoke black in from my F9 tour, thing is awesome, long, easy to hit, versatile, exceptional feel, perfect 3w IMO

Man i was going back and forth with this and the TM.. but decided on the taylormade sim2 i just launched the TM higher but that cobra to me feels real good

I really like Cobra since their F8, recently got a full radspeed iron and driver, Which fairway is the most forgiving you guys can recommend?

That tour 3w seemed a bit small some days.....

 

the Radspeed seems longer, more forgiving and feels better.  I am considering the 5w since I like everything else in the bag.

I have an F9 3W set at 15.5 that is great off the deck. Recently added a RadSpeed 7W with the Motore F3, so far so good. I also have an F9 3h, the three clubs make a nice top of bag. Different flights, all good off grass with the rails. I’m a believer.
