Carts that are good with carry bags

Well after over 12 years of having my bagboy push cart I am wanting to upgrade. I use an Ogio carry bag and it drives me crazy that it twists when I’m walking. Most of my buddies use the clique gear carts and like them, I’m wonder what other option work well with carry bags.

I have a Big Max IQ+ and it's solid no twisting. My regular group all have Clic's cause we live in Oregon and you can get them pretty cheap here. I like mine better then their's. The max is very easy to pullout and folds up nicely. Check out you tube for the reviews, that is what I did.

This is  such an important thread.   My golf game can't handle any twisting and turning of the golf bag.   It really aggravates me and its just one more thing to worry about!   With that said....I'm looking for the perfect match to a 2021 Sun Mountain 2.5 before I make my purchase.   Thanks!

Well I'm leaning towards the new Bag Boy carts, it looks like they have a newer system to kinda lock the legs in place of the carry bags. They are also on sale at my local golf shop. Thanks everyone for your input.

I have a Bagboy Nitron and I use it with a Taylormade carry/stand bag. No twisting and fits great. The Nitron accommodates the kick plate for the legs on the bag well and secures the legs of the bag at the top too. It is clear that the Nitron was designed with this very thing in mind. 10/10 would recommend.

the nitron and other BB carts were designed to fit their top lock system, hence the notch in the top cradle. as a side benefit, stand bag legs sit in that notched out section nicely. i will say though, use a towel, as it will wear the legs out right where they touch the cart. i actually exchanged mine for a CG because of that issue. it will also tear up cart bags right where the notch is as well. i was using a towel in between, but one round lost my primary towel so had to use that one. that round pretty much rubbed all the paint off the top of my stand legs on titleist hybrid

I use a Bagboy Nitron and agree with all of the above... i've used a ping hoofer and an older Nike stand bag and both worked great on the Nitron..

I have a Titleist Hybrid 5, and it does not fit well on a Sun Mountain Speed Cart. I like the bag, but could go another direction with the cart. Is there a cart that works with that particular bag?

I was just going through this same dilemma. I have a bit older Titleist 14 stand bag.  None of the carts really fit my bag well due to how wide the legs attach at the top of the bag.  While I could slide my bag into the Top Loc of the Nitron, it would not slide down far enough for the bottom of the bag to rest on the bottom support of cart.  Without it in the Top Loc, the bag just shifted around too much when playing with it in the store.  I ended up with the Clicgear 4.0.  While it still doesn't fit great with the legs, the new silicone straps seem to lock it into place more secure.  I haven't been out with it yet (hopefully this weekend) so could give an update after that.

Clic Gear has an accessory that attaches to the top of the cart that keeps the legs in place, eliminating the bag twist.  "BAG COZY"  Works very well.

First round in the books yesterday with the Clicgear 4.0.  The silicone straps kept my bag from shifting at all.  I went over some big bumps from mole tunnels and there was no shifting or movement.  While I have to stretch it to get the top straps around the bag, it does a great job locking the bag in place.  I am definitely sold now on the sturdiness of the cart as well.

I have a Bag Boy Quad XL cart and just bought the Bag Boy Chiller stand bag....it’s great..the bag locks into cart and there is no twisting and you don’t even need to use the cart strap.
