Callaway PM Grind 3.0 wedges?? Any rumors?

Hoping to see an update on this line. Anyone hearing rumors?

 

Loved the original set but passed on the 2.0 due to that excessive kink/offset at the hosel. They just looked worse to my eyes. But my originals are showing some serious age now.

I sure hope not, everyone has done the PM grind better than Callaway. TM Hi-Toe in particular looks very good. PM grind needs to drop all of the wacky offset with strange hosel, and strange shape. Even the new Cobra wedge and Wilson look better.

Personal preference really.  I tried to get along with the TM Hi-Toe but always found myself going back to the PM wedge.

The nice thing with the cobra is that it is a full face bone hi toe wedge..

 

the taylormade hitoe2 just released and is decent looking..

 

the callaway would be towards the end of the year if released. 
 

the raw forged jaws wedges are coming next.

I will never understand this progression from Callaway. 

 

The picture quality is as bad as the newer wedge shape.

That original looked so much better. They could have moved mass higher in the toe without elongating the shape so much.

i think the 2.0 more closely resembles the Eye 2 wedge that Phil loved and played for a long time - I would be surprised if offset was less with the 3.0 version

On looks alone the 17 PM grind  wins the eye test going away.  I love the sole grind and performance of the 19 much better.  Including head to head vs. Hi Toe.  I just saw the new Cobra wedge, it looks great.  No 64* there or with TM.

My experience was the 19' PM grind was also the lowest spinning of the bunch, which I prefer.

Playing the new hi toe raw with LB grind and it’s fantastic. Couldn’t ask for anything more from a 60.

I don’t know about lefty.. I believe they will be out in may..

Some may think them ugly but they work... I've been more successful playing flop and high loft short sided shots than with any wedge I've previously played

Same. You get used to the look and once you start hitting a bunch of great shots with it, the look starts to inspire confidence. 

 

I've never played a wedge that's as versatile around the green. I can do flops, high lofted pitches, it is great for the 30 yard low one-hopper, etc.

Unless you're playing at USGA elite level events (US AM, mid AM, etc.) you can still play your Eye 2's all you want until 2024. Rejoice.

Yuppers, I bought some backups, they're that good.  Played original PM grind until wore out, the 19 model may look different but it plays as well if not better.

oddly enough the OG PM was hit or miss for me. It definitely could have been me and not the club, but I am a lot more comfortable and consistent with the 19 PM.

Funny I feel the exact opposite between the two versions.  

 

I think they're a unique wedge for sure, but I think its worth everyone checking out for the versatility, just wish they came out with the Phil raw versions!
