Callaway PM Grind 3.0 wedges?? Any rumors?

Plus reduce the offset a little bit or at least make the transition from hosel to leading edge smoother. Otherwise the shape is fine but the offset looks really quirky.

I think thats the thing, the transition is really off putting at first for sure.

 

But after using it I actually prefer it over the Hi Toes that I previously had.  I guess I like the look of offset.

Offset is not the trouble as you say. Its just the sharp transition. There is lots of irons that have quite some offset but look nice because it is a smooth transition (e.g. older AP2 irons) and some others just look ugly although the offset in reality is quite little. Visuals are so important in this, its crazy.

Tried to pause the tv when Phil was hitting it out of a bunker at the Valero. No bueno. All I could see was that it looked chrome and possibly had additional ports.

Me 2.  I like the original one better.  The ‘19 version was better at full shots but for me, not as versatile around the greens from different lies, esp bad lies.

I’ve played both and prefer the ‘19 over the original despite the offset. The sole grind particularly the heel relief makes this wedge so good despite the relatively high bounce. It helps the leading edge look close the the ground when open. 
 

The additional offset helps when you’re playing fuller shots with this wedge if you play those shots similar to Phil with a lot of forward shaft lean. Which I think is important to keep the ball from spinning up the high face and making inconsistent distances

Has Phil been playing a new PM grind?  I thought he was using a prototype but then removed it from the bag.

JAWS Forged is available now. 52, 56 and 60 Chrome only.

Possibly for Phil's wedges.  If these aren't signed sealed and in production by now.  It is not likely we will be purchasing the new PM 21 for a while.

New Cleveland CBX Full face 64* grabbed my attention.  Looks to have a little less offset than the PM Grinds.  Would give this on a try if there were any shaft customization available.  DG 115 wedge won't work for me.  Hope to see the PM21 soon!

Boy I do like the look of that.  I had some RTX4 wedges and the soles were terrible, I wonder if these are any better.

Looks like the V- type sole, similar to their Srixon irons (56* in the picture).  I'm steep into the ball so very interested here.  Again lack of shafts is only thing stopping me giving it a try.

Got a quick look at his wedges on the Thursday coverage at Wells Fargo.  They looked chrome and did not have a badge.  Couldn't tell which version they were.

Yes there is testing and prototyping going on but as to the when and what, its not fully cooked yet.

Down to my last 2 OG 60s, one in the bag and the other under lock and key in the basement. I prefer the Glide 3.0 56 for sand, but the PM 60 seldom fails to peform elsewhere. Never cared for the sole on the 19 model.

If we are going to have to wait a while. It would have been nice to keep the current line in production.
