Search for on hand inventory.

I ordered a G425 5 wood 3 weeks ago - was delivered in 3 days.

Ordered a G425 3 wood yesterday (Thu) - will be delivered Sat.

Luckily my store had stock and nothing was custom.

Pings backorders are the worst in the business. Where as most companies are waiting on shafts, grips, etc. Ping it is actually their components. Its really bad..

Here's hoping they have nothing held up by that traffic jam in the Suez canal.  They've had terrible luck already with those containers falling into the ocean last year.

Will be getting fit next week and fitter told me to just ignore the i210s as the wait time is at least 2 months, but he expects it’ll be even longer.

What if you fit for stock and can get it off the shelf?

edit....lol it looks like even PGA Superstore has just left handed in stock. And none in the Phoenix metro.

Yeah, this is a big fitter. They sell a ton of sets, and they haven't had i210's on the shelf for months.

If the G425 line would have been released worldwide 6 months prior to the pandemic, instead of just Asia, things better by now or worse?

I don’t think it would have made that much difference. Yes, they would have sold quite a few G425 items.
However, no one could, at the time, have foreseen how long and severe this pandemic would be AND the positive impact it would have on golf. Rounds are way up....equipment sales are hot...but then who would have immediately realized just how severe it would impact shipping and supply chain?

Big thing to remember is it’s not just golf equipment. All sorts of products have been effected and are having issues shipping to consumer what is sold.

Will be worth the wait. Mine was about that time frame  but ordered early January. I finally got my new i1210 on the course today and absolutely loved them. I am coming from the Ping G irons and these just feel so good on well struck shots. I think I will be sticking with these for a very long time!

If you fit into stock options, buy them at a brick and mortar store, if possible. I waited a month for a stock G425 fairway wood and now I'm at six weeks for another G425 wood for which I made the terrible mistake of requesting a non-stock grip.

Not sure they own the market in this respect.  Come Thursday of this week, I will have waited 8 weeks for a set of Srixon irons which are still not built.  I have been told they are waiting on shafts, grips, and heads two different times.

No one is fast. But I can tell you i know someone personally that has been waiting for 4 and a half months on down g710s. Try of order some i210s. They will tell you they can’t get them. Had someone waiting on the for 5 months and ping finally just said “order something else”. Pretty sure they have discontinued the i210 now. Which is a shame. Great iron.

I placed an order for a G425 Driver, 3-wood and 5-wood on February 2nd. I was fit for the Rogue White in X-stiff for all clubs. The driver was ordered with a 70 gram shaft and the two fairways were ordered with 80 gram shafts. I was told it would be a 3-4 week wait time, I was in the room when my fitter ordered the clubs and I know this is what were were quoted. The driver showed up after about 6 weeks, which is inconvenient but not the end of the world. That brings me to today, I called Ping and told them the situation. They assured me on my last call that I would have my clubs in hand no later than April 16th, well today they told me that It will be at minimum two more months until my clubs ship. Ping is offering no compromise in any way and basically told me to take it or leave it.. Ping used to be a great company and I know that sourcing shafts is tricky in today's time but there are alternatives to just telling me to take it or leave it. Really frustrated by their lack of customer service.

Was roaming around my local Golf Galaxy store Sat, when I was waiting to demo a few new fairway woods, when customer was getting fitted for a new set of Ping G425 irons, w/custom NS Pro Modus Tour 130 shafts and Winn DriTac LT grips. Nothing to extreme, 1 degree flat, standard length. Fitting took plenty of time which is pretty standard I guess. Final step came to place order, and Pro and sales rep told this customer to expect up to an 8 week delay in delivery. The poor guy just stood there w/this look of dis belief. After about 2-3 minutes of thinking about that fact, he cancelled his order and walked out. Then sales rep tried to blame Covid on all the delays? Either way, certainly not the best customer service by Ping, especially what they are charging for a freakin 5-U wedge set up now.

Well, that is exactly why global supply chains are having issues across the board in every industry, not just golf equipment. It suks but it is what it is. it isn't Ping's fault and it isn't bad customer service. It's just the truth.
