Speaking as an old guy who has seen many, many tournaments (passive brag), I do not recall seeing as many outright clumsy shots as I saw this week.

You guys kill me. I’m all for humorous sarcasm but it was golf in tough conditions, fatigue,  wind and a tough course and because of that I enjoyed watching it especially because I play in a match play league which is so much different than stroke play golf. Furthermore I remember a year ago how much it sucked that there were no sports at all on TV especially weekend TV golf. How soon we forget...

I think BHo putting his glove in the front pocket is a game changer. Can't stand seeing 5 fingers sticking out of the back pocket, and some guys tucking the glove under the belt. You have a caddy there....let him press and clean multiple gloves between shots.

When it came back I was so into it that I started to get to know the “other” players out there a lot better than in the past. Now, I enjoy it that much more and enjoyed the match today. Now, we have the TV on whatever the tournament is every Sunday, when it used to be Majors only. 
 

Do I wish the match was a bit more dramatic? Sure, but watching great golfers toil over wedges in tough conditions was honestly a lot of fun.

The past 2 pages of this thread was more entertaining than the final match. I like Billy (can relate to having an alcoholic partner at one point).

That said, glad I took the (awesome new) GF out for sushi. Also, Bama needs to make more free throws.

I think we have been negligent in not offering a tip of the hat to Horschel and Scheffler for taking the match all the way to the end, keeping NBC from having to fill 90 minutes of dead airtime with "The Best of Feherty" or a long-form retrospective on the "Better Than Most" call.
