Yeah, it would be different in stoke play, because there are no concessions and we all know that. In match play the concession is just a formality really, but DJ took the liberty, bad on him. Did he gain an advantage by doing so?  Did you see a single 6 inch putt not conceded last week? Yeah, Na had the right to call him out and did, but then conceded the hole. So all that drama for a putt he was willing to concede anyway. Seemed unnecessary to me, but that's just my opinion.

Just saying that you cannot pick up a putt UNTIL it's been conceded.  DJ's wasn't.

Just like you cannot pick up a 6 incher in stroke play and say "that was good".

They're both violations of the rules.  And the fact that they're both 6 inches means you can't way one is okay and the other isn't.  IMO.

As for some other posters thinking this will hurt Na's chance of making the Ryder Cup team, surely it's the opposite.  That move of DJ's is unlikely to be passed over by the Euro's.  Na was already out of it, but the Euro's really want to win.

I didn’t realize this, sorry if already mentioned,

“But that wasn’t the whole story. It couldn’t be, because under the rules of match play, a player may not retroactively concede a putt. Players also are not permitted to waive enforcement of a rule.

So, what gives?

Both players were absolved of any wrongdoing because Johnson said he thought he heard Na concede the putt, Gary Young, the Tour’s vice president of rules and competitions, told GOLF.com on Saturday.

“They were saved by the fact that Dustin — and I asked him and we had this conversation in front of the rules committee who were all hearing it and Dustin was very honest — he just said I got to be honest that I thought he said, ‘That’s good,’” Young said.”

Try the freshwater eel (unagi). Is steamed and grilled, delicious.

Chefs need special training to make it cause if is not made right, is poisonous!

Wrong fish.

Puffer fish is poisonous when not prepared properly.

Eel just needs to be cooked/steamed/boiled or make sure all the blood is removed.

Got to say, the “I thought I heard him say it’s good” is a move straight outta the Patrick Reed playbook. Can you imagine what the reaction would be if Reed had done what DJ did this past week?

I don’t even remember why we don’t like Reed. He’s got a reputation, but I don’t even remember anymore.

I think Reed is more of a stand up guy than Johnson. Reed dosn't care what anybody thinks- Johnson just acts entitled

I see DJ has pulled out of another event-I do not normally root for anybody( just want to see good play )But I would like to see somebody other than DJ and his brother foot boy win at Augusta

That is how I viewed it as well.  Na knew it didn't matter, in that instance, but it certainly could in the future.

You mean...if it’s not prepared properly

You can die.

Id consider that poisonous ; )

Even ill prepared chicken or pork can cause sickness and death.

Having special chef training is a different matter.

Eel, as most anything, as long as cleaned properly will not be dangerous.

Ya, freshwater eel always part of me order...

2 tuna sushi, 2 yellowtail, one toro sashimi, one eel, one flying fish roe, one salmon skin roll.

Then I usually get one more tuna and one more eel!

Bottle of cold dry sake ; )
