So looking at someone's golf clubs makes them an "aggressor"? Maybe he just wanted to look at the clubs? Is someone looking at your clubs that big of a deal? (And no, it is not equivalent to someone jumping into your car to take it for a spin, or banging your wife, etc.) 

 

If a stranger looks at my clubs, no worries. It doesn't mean that I am going to let just anyone hit my clubs, but there is no sense in being a Richard Cranium because someone made an error in looking at my golf clubs.

As I always told my younger brother. You don’t have eye balls in your finger tips.  Meaning , look all you want. So long as you don’t touch.

As far as a one sided version, i tried very hard in the OP to make it clear I was concerned I came off as “that guy” and tried to put my side of the story in the worst light I could for myself because of that. I did unintentionally  leave out that he heard the guy next to me ask about the DTC process with pxg irons after he noticed them before our exchanges happened. Maybe that piqued his interest?
