The Jaws wedges have been available in a forged version for a while in Japan. I'm debating whether to buy them or the current Bridgestone wedges. I prefer the grind on the Bridgestones...

I know forged stuff is out there. Jaws forged wedges will be out soon in the US. I am simply saying it is not the norm in the US.

The PGA tour live WITB pop-up said its a "spider ex embargo 3/2" (if I read it correctly), I'm assuming its some sort of custom build/prototype

You an also build this from PVC pretty easily.  You could design it in a similar way to this (https://eyelinegolf.com/products/pro-slider) .. something like this

I tnink it is an older 815 Bridgestone, they were and excellent driver. Ugly as sin, but played very well.
