Family trip with kids - Tampa

Hi guys , looking to get away with wife and 2 kids to a resort in Tampa with golf but obviously other stuff that the wife and kids can enjoy. My kids are a llittle younger but my oldest will come out on the course with me occasionally, but in all honesty he would probably prefer pool / beach and whatever ever else kids stuff there is in the area. 

 

We are looking at Innisbrook which seemingly has all that we want except price tag is pretty steep . Is there anything else that is comparable to innisbrook in the area ?

Cant help w resorts but Busch gardens is a must for kiddos. The Tampa aquarium is amazing but $spendy.  Top golf is super fun for everyone.  Kinda like bowling but golf.

With golf, pool, etc all in one place, Innisbrook is pretty much it.

The pool complex at Innisbrook is ok with water slides that a younger kid would enjoy, but the resort as a whole is dated and still kind of stuck in the 70s. They updated the rooms some, but it's still a very old resort. The golf is way overpriced too. If you're gonna splurge on either Island or Copperhead, Island is more interesting. The other two courses (North and South) are cheaper but they aren't as nice condition. I took the wife and daughter for spring break but we had a 35% off deal. I would not pay full price for Innisbrook.
