Shafts are Modus 120 Stiff. My last 2 iron sets had Modus 105 Stiff. Mizuno shaft optimizer recommended a few heavier shafts and so I did some testing on our range. Liked the Modus 120 the best so went with that. Definitely prefer the 120 to the 105.

 

6 rounds in and so far I'm really enjoying the ZX5s. Getting exactly what I expect out of them based on loft, and the V sole definitely works for me. Coming from P790s.

Awesome, great to hear! I ordered mine with KBS Tour 120 shafts. Just hoping they don’t take too long...fingers crossed!! 🤞🤞

 

My last irons were P770’s and had a combo set of Tour Preferred MC/MB before that.

Definitely more mixed that its ever been before! I'm considering going back to Vokey's for my wedges as well, so it could be even more mixed in the near future.

Taylormade woods, Titleist irons/wedges, no-name cheap putter. Bag is Titleist and ball is Titleist so I guess it's just three brands no matter how you count it.

Doing a handmade with the b17 head.  I wanted to do an epic day but he does not have those heads anymore.  So we will soften the edges to give it a more flowing look with a flow neck and a touch less toe hang.

As of today I'm now up to 6 with the arrival of my new RTX Zip Core SW. 

 

Could potentially be down to 5, but based on my Long Putter thread over in the Club Tech's forum its looking like that's not gonna happen and we're more likely than not gonna stay at 6. 

 

Little twist on this question -- Currently have 3 different shaft brands in the bag (counting PX as TT) with GD, Taylormade, and True Temper. Hopefully Nippon will be added to that list in the future soon enough . . .
