@JohnnyCallaway,  thanks so much for your informative posts on the TDs on this thread and the other one. I have the Flash TD and absolutely love it. Have been waiting eagerly to upgrade. I do use the perimeter weighting moved to the heel to reduce a bit of the fade bias - see picture below. 
 

Would the Speed TDs with no perimeter weighting work for me or should I look at the Max LS

Epic Speed retail is such a good driver that it seems a lot of Callaway pros aren't even looking at anything else at the moment.

Yes, that is correct.

Then what is the benefit of Speed TD? More ball speed? Lower spin? More workability?

The 2 weight ports and internal CG bias all a player to really dial in launch and spin.

Different heads.....retail LS is the Max.....TD LS is the Speed profile and only allows movable weights front to back.....not like the Retail LS which allows the weight to setup for a dispersion bias

I did some horse trading and ended up with a TD LS that i am told is tour issue.....Are they all tour issue and what is the difference.....This one has a TA serial #.....Would like to know what I have in case i sell.

Then its "Tour Authentic" which I've been told is the exact same as the TC (Tour Issue) serial heads.

Not true the TA serial is tour authentic and sold thru certain retailers, the TC serial is truly not sold via retailers is tour issue.

I understand that difference but I am saying the heads are exactly the same with no physical differences. Furthermore, the "TA" heads even have the spec stickers attached. So no difference......other than serial differences..."TA" versus "TC"....

Technically, you would NOT be lying to say yours is "Tour Issue" simply because you know the specs, as they were measured just like the "TC" heads they give only to the Tour.

sure, but would someone who had and loved the regular EFSZ (but didn’t get along with the Mavrik line at all) be more drawn to the regular speed TD, or speed LS TD? 

 

fwiw, I played a ventus black 60x in the driver, and the current TSi3 just isn’t working out

Is there a reason that the Epic Speed LS Triple Diamonds are going for above MSRP on eBay?

 

I ordered an Epic Max LS, but in the shipping email it says they are sending the "TA Epic Speed LS TD". It doesn't seem like I should be unhappy about the mix up?

The LS may be harder to get so sellers are asking for more. It sounds like you are getting a Tour Authentic Epic Speed LS TD not a Max LS. If you can afford to get a bit less spin from your driver than the Max Ls provided the TD will be fine.

Just picked up a TC Epic Speed LS with the iM10 70X.

 

Currently have the PX RDX Blue 6.5 70 in my Epic Max LS that U am going to compare over the winter.

 

Has anyone played the iM10 line? Curious on feedback for this model.

 

Loving the RDX Blue but thot I’d option the iM10 70 and if it doesn’t suit me I can move it.

So I’ve been going back and forth between the MaxLS 9.0° and 10.5° lofted down. Honestly no difference in distance, dispersion and flight is similar.

The Epic Max Ls sounded much worse but felt pretty good. The ST MaxLS is much more muted and solid feeling, although difficult to tell where I’m the face the impact was.

I find the ST way more consistant in flight and distance. 
Although I tried the RDX Blue and the iM10 both In 75 gram 6.5 flex, they did not wow me into the season so I went back to my old favourite driver shaft.

I settled on the 10.5° ST Max Ls lofted down with a Tour Green 75X and am content to play the year without anymore changes.

I also prefer the flatter face of the ST ls….reminds me of the Ping G20

face profile with minimal bulge and roll vs others.

The ST Max was a bit louder than the ST Max ls and flew a bit higher and not as consistant for me and I did not like the large footprint vs the ST Max Ls either.

The ST Max Ls Driver and the Tsi2 fairway we’re  new additions to the bag this year and have made the most impact on dropping my HCP. Top of the bag is great.
