Here is my favourite vintage golf bag. It's bag made exclusively for Pebble Beach by MacGregor when under Jack's direction, I would guess early to mid 1980s. Pictured in Morecambe, England on our 'pebble beach'.

Anyone seen another?

How desireable is it and who would hazard a guess at it's value as a collectible?

I have a very similar MacGregor staff bag from that era - the bag structure/pockets etc look almost the same but mine is standard MacGregor livery. The gold piping and Pebble Beach branding makes yours very special!

No idea what it is worth now, but can you image strolling into the Pebble Beach pro shop circa 1983 and walking out with that souvenir?   Wow!

It's certainly a man-cave statement, that's for sure.

I've seen Mac bags in the classic green and white go for over 200 pounds here at auction in Japan, and they weren't in as good nick or yours, or with the Pebble logos.

 

Obviously, I'd pay 200 quid just for the extra Morecambe sand that is now in the bag😜

Sorry for the delay in posting. Golfwrx notifications are haphazard at best. It went to a guy at Gleneagles for £300. He's a dealer, so I don't think it was for his mancave.
