Ok, I’ve been thinking about this... I have a very simple solution.

 

What is the difference between a blade, muscle back and cavity back? It’s simply where the weight it placed... traditional blades simply don’t move weight around, muscle backs move weight to the center and cavity backs move weight to the perimeter. 
 

thus we should rename them:

 

standard weight for blades

localized weight for muscle backs 

perimeter weight for cavity backs 

 

or pw, sw and lw... that shouldn’t create any confusion, right?

The reason i like Power Blades is that it implies it's still a players club in a sense. Which these pretty much are (i500, 770s, Forged Tec).

 

We may have to let this go on a few pages and then put it to a vote.

Yeah just going by looks , the TS1 seems more in line with this. Nothing against the TS2's they are just a little different looks wise

To me, Power Blades simply implies that the lofts are jacked, e.g., PING i210, i500 Power Spec Loft irons.

What on Earth is my 5 iron?  ZX5.  Is it a Flexible Cavity (another adult movie name)?  Power Cavity (yeah there it is again)?  Player's distance cavity back?  Enhanced Cavity, another chuckle.

Zx4 = Hot Pocket GI

Zx5 = Cavity Back GI

Zx7 = Cavity Back Players

While they're not "cavity back" irons, they do have a cavity, which by definition is an empty space within a solid object.
