We're in a difficult place if Bryson is the face of golf.

I am trying really hard to like this guy. From a rational standpoint, I appreciate what he's trying to do with his game. He said he would train to become the longest hitter on tour and did it. It's worked out well so far when he can keep it in the park.

 

However, it is very hard to like him otherwise. Dude needs to stay off social media entirely. I don't care one bit about the weird stuff you and your clingers-on do in your off time. He clearly thinks everything he does is entertaining. It's not. It's dorky and weird.

 

I feel like the best thing for him would be to get a team of handlers like Tiger had. Another set of eyes that sees things from a less, um, unique perspective would help him a lot.

Yea ... no.    I didn’t like bro sessions whne I was that age.  Now ?   All I can think is “ look how messy that house is “.     You’d think with all that money he’d have a cleaning service.   And some more space.

Lot of people that do dumber/worse stuff for the world than making clearly sarcastic/joking videos of lifting weights on the internet. 

 

You can think it's not funny but it's not really harming anyone. 

 

Not a bryson fan really but some people just look for stuff to get upset about. He's his own person, it's not on him to carry or represent golf, whatever that means.

The second is making fun of other people.

In this case, BD obviously made this video to be made fun of, so all good.

 

But, he should not mess around kidding doing extensions like that. Prolly took the weight down to nothing but guys get hurt goofing around like that a lot.

i've said it before and i'll say it again. Bryson and Koepka are both guys that if they weren't insanely good at their job and made the most money of everyone in their circle, would kind of be the awkward guy that you're friends with but he's kinda weird. 

 

But since they are rich , it's like "oh he's the leader now i guess, let's just go along with everything he does because he buys us drinks and stuff, and hot women end up in his orbit" but there's an unspoken vibe in the group where everyone is kinda shocked that he's now the cool one.
