I up to doin 4 sets of 12, one arm/archer pull-ups on the neutral grip. Hit lats, but also bis surprisingly well, and even mid trap a bit. I’ve surpassed the results I was getting in the gym! Just no hit rear delt but what can you do ; )

I do not like the guy at all, but I actually appreciate the fact that he's clearly making fun of himself here.  He's an annoying dork, but at least he seems to be starting to acknowledge it.

Ha! Times change, as do fitness goals.

 

Pre-covid, I was doing Romanian deadlifts and front squats. Bench, rows etc. 
 

Since gyms close, I do no weights at all.

 

One arm/archer pull-ups, for now, got me in a 6-12 rep range. That’s as good as weights.

 

I do one arm/archer pushups with my feet on the bed for chest, delts. . Rep range 8-12. Good as weights. Try it. 

 

The results speak for themselves, I’ve gained upper body muscle mass. Especially shoulders and bis. Was surprised but this is doing the trick.

 

Now, for legs.... I don’t any resistance work. Just doing this workout below and cycling. I’m sure I’ve basically lost all my “weight” strength, but, as far as cardiovascular fitness, core, leg strength, lateral/cross plane movement as it applies to being athletic, I’m moving extremely well for an old guy ; )

Agreed. My favourite people are those who are totally themselves. I can appreciate that he's being himself with his approach to the game, but he's a complete phoney off the course. Trying too hard to brand himself, and I don't think he even knows what his "brand" is.

He's basically the nexus of golf jock and golf nerd. I think it's great. You've got to appreciate the absolute obsession he has for this game we all pretty much suck at even on our best days.

I probably prefer this to DJ's aloofness or Rory refusing to be as great as he actually is. Rory could dismantle every other golfer on the planet every tournament if he could just want it.

The guy owns being himself, even if he's kinda on the spectrum.

I think BD is a very good role model on the whole for junior golfers.

 

He works his butt off, thinks for himself and innovates.

 

He complains a bit but he generally carries himself with class and composure. No f-bombs, no Rahmbo type rants. 
 

And he got stupid game and bears down in the clutch.

No he is good at playing golf no doubt.

He is self appreciative, braggin and boastin. Maybe this is a culture thing but I think that is uncool.

He is very slow breaking the rules of golfs time limit constantly. Uncourteous to fellow players and the audience.

He has a very ugly swing and put technique. I appreciate beauty in most things, but Brysons swing make me uncomfortable.

I do appreciate his work ethic and interest in the sport.

But, he should not mess around kidding doing extensions like that. Prolly took the weight down to nothing but guys get hurt goofing around like that a lot.

i thought the video was wholesome despite being a little annoying. better to be filmed acting like a goof ball in his garage gym on a saturday night than him ending up on TMZ for doing something scandalous at a strip club.
