Double "Wow"? I can't believe what I'm watching. 

 

For starters we have some of the best conditions at the ANA in recent years. I've watched regularly since 2009, and I don't recall such benign conditions. 

 

If you asked me which player would be on a 59 watch, my answer would be an immediate "Sei Young". It doesn't look like Lydia is going to break 60, but the course record is within reach, as is the major scoring record. 

 

Patty is playing fine, but seems to be a little tight. Lydia and Sei Young are simply free-wheeling, and Inbee is solid. Don't think the chasers can catch Patty, but it's a heck of an entertaining show. Lol.

Good tournament but coverage is lacking.  They are stuck on 3 players and watching Patty walk from green to tee.  Good thing I like Lydia.

Patty is not Ariya.  Patty seems far more mentally prepared and strong.  She seems to have that inner competitive fire.  One of the reporters covering the event said yesterday that Patty gave them the Ben Hogan stare ... as if to say, "what a stupid question"!  She didn't of course, but she didn't flinch from the thought of being the winner.  

 

But it's golf ... I remember Jean Van de Velde at Carnoustie after all.
