Is anyone going with a full bag of Cobra? I ve never been a man who has just stuck to one brand but the Cobra offerings are so good with real deal shafts( no co engineered rubbish). I love the innovative designs. I ve got the Rad XB and 3 wood , found a new F6 baffler which I put a Motore X in Rad hybrid with Mmt shaft and Mim tour irons and wedges. Anyone else full bag and if so what’s in it?

I played a set of Cobra irons (King Cobra II's) for a decade and liked them. Really like their woods and will end up playing a full 'team' of them soon.

Reckon that they are a mixed bag by brand image by geographical market. Without access to market stats I would suggest as an example that they have a higher market share in Australia due to Greg Norman's association with them.

My call - with the right marketing mix they can gain better market share than they have now - personally I would love to get my business hands on control of this brand, they could achieve much more commercial success.

I am firmly of the belief that you cannot absolutely max out your equipments performance utilizing only one brand (unless you’re a tour pro who has access to prototype and one offs etc). That said, they make some great stuff.  I’ve liked their woods in the past. Although I think one length is a bit of a gimmick I respect their commitment to it. Utility is good, wedges are ok if standard stuff works for you, irons are fabulous, the new putter looks kind of cool.

As others have stated I think they have a bit of an issue with identity. Just signed Berkshire and they’re going with Bryson’s scientific image in their advertising to make people think they’re the kings of bombing it. I know they’re trying to stand out with the neon etc but a) kids don’t have money for nice clubs, we are the kind of crowd you want to go after and b) many of the bros that might dig neon stuff are flat out going to buy TM. I don’t think they have enough workhorse tour players who are viewed as true gamers by the core golfer.

In the end I don’t think it’s a performance thing at all I think they need a new marketing dept.

I love cobra and would play 13/14 clubs from them... but I don’t change equipment that often and went dtc this year...

Could easily game their woods, hybrids and irons... I think they make top of the line stuff... I’m less interested in their wedges.

They've made really good drivers and fairways for a several years now.

The utilities are pretty good to.

I'm actually trying out a MIM wedge this year because I wanted something with a different bounce/grind than what I was playing and they had one that fit the bill.

As someone mentioned earlier, they are really good with their stock shaft and no upcharge custom options. I got the Modus 125 wedge shaft as a no upcharge custom.

I have the Radspeed Big Tour 3w & F9 OL hybrids (3,4,5) in the bag, but I'm very tempted to add the radspeed driver for performance and aesthetic reasons. That peacoat color scheme is the best on the market IMO.

Not sure about the irons. I'm not a good enough ball striker for the MIMs, the Radspeed Irons are too clunky looking & I've heard too much about gapping issues in the Forged Tecs that puts me off on them.

I'm 12/14 right now. My hybrid will be Cobra once i just decide to spend the money but Hybrids are such a terrible investment for me.

I tried hybrids for several years - basically hook machines for me.  I now carry a 3 & 5 wood!

Same here. F9 Tours that aren't going anywhere.

13/14 of the bag is Cobra. PUD and store credit helped that along. Great stuff and I'm addicted to he DBM.

Been gaming the Cobra S3 Pro forged MBs for several years now no other irons have kicked them out and recently have gone to the f9 driver tour baffler speedback 3W and 19* hybrid to round out so 8 of my clubs are now Cobra. I never really been one to be up on the latest and greatest tech but love the f9 line for sure. FWIW I came off from playing Titleist 910s...still game a couple 910Hs though. I've felt the 910s were ahead of there time tech and everyone started to follow suit. I have that same sense from the f9 series.

Haven’t ventured far into cobra just yet, but I did scoop up the F9 driver and f9 tour fairways during the summer last year with some good online deals. I absolutely love the driver/3/5 woods I got. The PX smoke black shafts just fit me very well.

curious to try the irons and wedges towards the end of the year, but plan to do a formal fit so I may not end up with them.

I got pretty close a couple of years ago but am trending in the other direction now. Their stuff can compete pretty much across the board and I love that they take chances (ex. DBM, MIM) but the marketing is all over the place.

I like Cobra but I think one of their issues is that they have new equipment literally every year. Callaway at least tries to vary the line that gets updated to every 2 years even though they are bringing stuff out every year. It’s a joke that cobra drivers drop in value almost immediately because they’ll have a new one in a couple months. Outside of the hardcore golfers, people don’t want to pay 500+ for a driver for it to be “out of date” almost immediately.

of course that makes the secondary market or last years stuff great value, but again, no golfer “wants” to go for last years stuff.

Cobra fanboy here, although you wouldn’t be able to tell much by the bag right now.  Cobras woods/hybrids just work for me, I’ve played every Cobra driver since the Bio Cell, except the new Radspeed. Pxg Proto knocked my F9 out of the bag and Sz just didn’t feel as good as the Pxg.
I’ve had their woods in bag forever, F6 baffler since it came out a F7 Hybrid and also a Bio Cell 3w (it just got replaced by a Sim Max Rocket).  And I’ve had several sets of the irons and honestly they feel as good or better than a lot of the big names. Really want the Copper Forged Tec and the new “Masters Driver” floating around out there.
Putter & Wedges are gonna be a pass for me, the wedges feel good and look good but the bounce/grind don’t work for my swing. And my putter is just my favorite club so there’s that.
