adams 9015d a4 10.5 matrix ozik 60-s vs j33r 460

I hope I'm posting this thread in the correct place if not maybe a moderator could please move it. Anyway, I have 5 j33r 460 drivers I love but wanted to try the adams 9015d a4. I bought the adams with 10.5 loft and a matrix ozik 60-s. It won't be here for another couple of weeks but I am thinking of reshafting it with something else. My top 4 out of the 5 j33r 460 drivers have the following loft and shaft options. 9.5 w/ stiff first gen. speeder 757, 10.5 w/ stiff prolaunch red tipped 1/2", 10.5 w/ regular second gen speeder 757 tipped 1" (whippy but still controllable), and finally a 12 w/ stiff whiteboard. All the j33r's go the same distance except the 9.5 is 15 yards longer on the trackman so I've been using that although I'm not sure about the first gen. 757, it's very outdated. First, does anyone think I would be even better off reshafting the 9.5 j33r with a more modern shaft before the adams arrives and if I don't like the adams maybe I'll like the 9.5 j33r even more, is the stiff first gen. 757 still relevant. I'm thinking possibly a whiteboard or blueboard or evenflow black. My swing speed is up from 90 to 110+ again (been working out again for the past year) I'm 6' 5" 260 lbs. as well. Is the matrix ozik 60-s (made for not oem I assume) going to be too whippy or too high launching? What shaft do you guys think would be a good match for a 10.5 9015d a4 for my swing speed. Something that will keep the flight down as I am a high launch high spin player hence the love for the j33r drivers. Hopefully 10.5 isn't too much loft. I have a oem stiff whiteboard and a oem aldila nv 65-x I always liked but I'm open too suggestions for any/all shafts in the 10.5 9015d a4 adams or 9.5 j33r 460 if a more modern shaft would help. I use eye 2 1-lob zz-lite irons and my 5 iron goes about 200-205 yards and my wedge is around 145-150 yards if that matters for driver shaft choices. So to sum it up do I reshaft the Adams or do I hit it first? I have never used a matrix ozik before. Also, should I reshaft my 9.5 j33r (or even 10.5 or 12 degree) with something newer, I might fall in love with a j33r 460 all over again. I hope someone who knows these 2 drivers and what shafts work well in them can help me. there seems to be way more info out there about the bridgestones than the adams. Oh yeah and one last thing, should I try the 9016d, I don't know why the swing speed has to be 120+ with that one. thanks guys, Jeff

Those are older heads, and I’m not super familiar with them... plenty of great shafts available... if you have the 9015d already built, what are your numbers looking like?

 

I love Bridgestone drivers, you can easily find a good shaft for it... I love aldila shafts, the aldila silver 110 can be picked up cheap and fits my swing at 115.

 

it’s hard to give specific shaft suggestions without knowing what modern stuff you’ve tried and like.

 

ventus blue and black are both super popular for a reason... great stable shafts for high speed swings.
