Tensei Question

Kind of old news but is there any (noticeable) difference between the Tensei  AV and CK versions?   (Is the CK Versions the "made for" versions???)

Both AV and CK have cheaper “ made for” shafts and premium aftermarket shafts. Thr CK aftermarket will be called “CK pro” and the AV aftermarket will be in the TX flex only. AV just stands for Aluminum Vapor, its a weave they put in the butt. I could be wrong but i think the CK has kevlar butt weave. Aftermarket versions will have mr70 (70 ton) in tip sections or boron.

Correct, the "Pro" version are the ones with the enhanced tip sections.

 

Can anyone tell the difference between the AV and CK versions?  Or are there any noticeable difference between those two versions?

the CK is the most “stock” feeling IMO there’s nothing special about it.

 

the AV is actually a nice solid and great feeling shaft for the price - I just only get along with it in driver not fairways

 

the CK PRO is on another level and feels like a completely different premium shaft compared to the others

Additionally, the CK versions have a noticeably larger butt diameter which some people don’t like.

Different materials mostly.  Feel is different as well.
