Anyone have any opinion on the Gapr or JPX hi fly?

I know the Gapr is older tech, but I’m thinking of adding a high lofted hybrid (28-30*) to my bag. I like the adjustability option and I’m not looking for a distance machine. Looking for a 195-200 club. My Sim Max is awesome but it goes too far. Need a club to bridge the 7i and Sim 6 hybrid. I’ve looked at JPX too, but I’ve never gamed a Mizuno before. I’d be building my own since those sorts of clubs don’t come with a shaft I’d want. I’d pair it with either an EvenFlow Blue or Black X-Flex.

I don’t think the Gapr Hi was really popular however I really liked them.

I still have 4, 5, 6, with KBS hybrid 70 shafts but they are not in my bag this year. Decided to play other clubs this year but these are back-up.

 

The Gapr Hi really stood out to me as a design from Adams which Taylor Made acquired.

They play like among Adams best hybrids in my opinion.

Bit of an anomaly I would think in an X flex player not playing above a 7i (albeit strong lofted).  I can only offer some incite into the Gapr low 2 as I have one and think it is a fantastic club, so can't bring anything to this discussion of higher lofted hybrids paired with X flexed graphite shafts.

My bag is unconventional, for sure. I’ve never liked long irons. The Sim Max 6H is insanely easy to game, and gives me a consistent, high, straight 220 yard ball flight. I wouldn’t get that out of a 5 or 6 iron. In fact I have the G710 5 and 6 iron because they came with the set. They’ve never been hit and sit in my basement.
