I just don’t get along with those Sun Mountain putters

I wish Karsten was still alive so that Scotty could come up with some unique putter designs.

(don't say it....no I'm gonna do it). you're not good enough to care this much about equipment      lol.

Nike made a lot of really decent equipment.

True, but also a lot of ugly junk. It was all or nothing with them.

I pick 14 of the following:
Ping G400
Ping G410 3, 5 and 7 wood
Ping G 400 4 hybrid
Ping G 4-U
Ping Glide 2.0 Stealth 54, 58 SS
Grips NDMC +4
Odyssey Pro #1 black
Hoofer
ProV1x-mostly
ECCO Biom Hybrid 3

100%!! I don’t understand the appeal of having multiple sets of clubs?

If someone likes clubs enough to keep them, then why aren’t they gaming them?

And if they’re never going to use them again, then why are they keeping them and taking up space in their garages/basements?

It's a sickness. I need to sell a LOT of clubs. Getting tired of having so many.  I don't know if I should go the usual Ebay route or try the BST. I haven't sold anything on WRX before so I'm not sure if it's better or worse than Ebay.

Gotcha...makes sense.

Personally, any club I know I don’t need or won’t be using anymore, I sell them on my local BST (called Kijiji here in Canada). The market for used clubs is actually red-hot right now and everything I’ve listed for sale since Summer of 2020 has sold pretty quickly.

I won't disagree with that. They came out with some stomach churning stuff, but they didn't deserve all the hate they got on this forum

I played some of their stuff, I really liked the SQ fairway woods, T60 fairway was awesome for its day, some of the wedges, blades were nice

The Vr Pro wedges they put out right after the groove rule were some of my favorites from feel/spin/looks. I played some of the blades and a couple of their balls I liked. I loved the Vr Tour driver and an old SQ hybrid I had. That Vr Tour driver had a dime sized sweet spot and was unforgiving as any driver I ever played, but when you nailed it good lord did that thing go for miles

If you have to lay down on the green to read break the putter isnt the issue. Play with something you are consistent with, not with something that makes you look cool.

People who moan about jacked lofts need to worry less about these things! These traditionalists presumably still use wooden headed drivers, and don’t own a car and have a horse instead!

Literally every club manufacturer, OEM or not, have, has or currently produced ugly junk. Doesn't mean the clubs aren't good or playable. Over time here I've seen way too many people whine about certain clubs without ever trying/gaming them. So many preconceived notions.

STOP wearing white belts, you look like a complete tool.  I know, not an equipment item, but stop wearing those.  You do make Cousin Eddie proud.

Titleist balls perform the same as other manufacturers.

I’m afraid I have to disagree, Titleist have one difference in my performance compared to others. I cry when I lose one because they cost more!

In the 15 minutes or so you've been a member here you've stated you're openly a club ho yet you ask the question highlighted above. Doesn't add up.

Not trying to offend anyone, and yes I’ve been flipping clubs like crazy. But every club that I’ve decided to replace has been sold.

In hindsight there are some clubs I wish I hadn’t sold, and I gave up on them too quickly...but that’s because I would prefer to only have 1 bag of clubs, especially because I already have a set for each of my 2 kids taking up space in the house also.

Obsessing over achieving perfectly consistent gapping is silly.

You're not Iron Byron, every lie you'll face is unique, and you're probably smart enough to remember your ideal full swing carry with each club even if it's not exactly 10 yards from each of the adjacent clubs.

Adjusting to correct a gap that is too tight makes some sense, sure, but having your lofts adjusted by 1* is a placebo.

Anyway, chances are you'll be moving on to a different set of clubs inside six months anyway. 🙂

This week, the PGA Tour is at TPC San Antonio on the Oaks Course for the Valero Texas Open. GolfWRX was on-site Tuesday to catch a glimpse into the bags of some of the world’s top golfers.

The field of 144 is getting ready to battle starting Thursday for the $7.7 million purse, with $1.386 million going to the winner. The tournament is also the last event where players can qualify for The Masters, just like Canadian Corey Conners did last year.
