That Strafaci kid was a member at Grande Oaks, private club I used to work at. Also where they filmed Caddyshack.. I’ve played golf with him a few times. Kids got a great game. Had no idea he was in this or won the Amateur. I’ve been out of the loop.

Tiger might not know the answers to these questions yet. 

These are the unknowns at this time. Will he be able to play again? If that means 18 holes with Charlie, using a cart, then probably yes. If that means walking 18 holes a day for 4 days then maybe. If it means being able to put in the work, getting the “reps” needed to be competitive, questionable.

Anyone can be in good shape just takes discipline and dedication especially with diet. I’m 50 this year and in better shape ever. 90% diet !!

Lots of wry smiles and elliptical references about the greens on GC's 'Live From' this week especially last night.

 

It seems that the talk of long hitters especially BAD's plans to fly the trouble exist on a track parallel to that of green speeds ie one is discussed without the context of the other.

 

It probably states the obvious to say that the competition committee are determined not to let someone bomb his way to a win.  But these previously emerald surfaces shouldn't be this brown in April.  They're at speeds now where break is really just a theory - how ironic on such a hilly course.
