Has Jordan always watched his club go back in the backswing? He glances back and then back to the ball. Never noticed it before but I used to do that and was told it’s a BIG NO NO. Never seen a pro do that. Some c0ck their head to start (jack, hogan) but Jordan’s eyes move off the ball.

Duval I think did and then left the ball forward before impact.  He really never watched the ball at all.    Don’t think it matters really.

Not nuts..at least about this😂...read he went from 7* loft to 3* loft in putter and changed to a different model, all of which would fit idea of technique change.

So with the Masters app, you can go back and watch any stroke a guy has made. I just went and watched a couple of Kuchar's putts, and he's still arm locking... But on his RIGHT arm, and not his left! That's a really interesting change. He's had the same setup for so long.

 

His second shot on 6 is a really clear example.

Justin Thomas just looks so miserable when he isn’t playing well. Most pros aren’t happy if they are getting stuck, but JT looks like he wants to kill someone. Dude needs an on course attitude adjustment. He’s rather cantankerous.

I got in the habit of doing that.. I am working hard to break it now..

 

for the record. I thought today was a heck of a lot of fun. Rose shooting what he did today was crazy. He was totally in the zone.

I don’t think he looked off the ball in the backswing just before impact. Just thought it was interesting 🙂
