More forgiving fairway , tsi2 versus sim2

Wanted to hear from you guys who have hit both. I hit sim2 last week and it was pretty awesome. Have to hit tsi2 yet

I didn't hit the tsi2 vs sim2 but I hit the tsi3 vs the sim2 TI in a fitting last week both with an rdx smoke black 80g x flex.

 

Liked the look of both but the sim2 TI sat flatter at address. I hit my 3 wood off the deck a lot and found that the tsi line has a taller face so it felt like it wouldn't be as easy to make clean contact off of a tricky lie. Liked the response and feel of the ball coming off of the sim. The tsi FLEW but it almost felt like there wasn't even a ball there at times.

IMO the TSi. I have TS2's still currently and they're super forgiving.

I too tried the TSi2, Sim2, and Sim2 Ti (and a bunch of others!).  Sim2 Ti ended up winning the spot in my bag.  I originally bought the Callaway Epic Speed (over the Cobra Radspeed Big Tour) because I didn't want to pay that much for a fairway wood (the Sim2 Ti is pricey), but the Sim2 Ti was always in my head.  Glad I sold the Cally and got the Sim2 Ti.

Just a bump on this looking for some updated feedback...choosing between the sim2 ti and tsi2, both with AD-DI 7S.  Both solid sticks but let's hear what you like off the tee or the deck?  Distance control, etc...

I still have the SIM2 ti (5W set @ 19*), but I've spent some time on the range and the course with my friend's TSi2.  Both are great sticks.  I think the SIM2 ti looks better at address (sits perfectly behind the ball), sounds/feels significantly better than the Titleist, and is more explosive off the face.  If I were picking one over the other based on forgiveness and maybe ease-of-launch, though, I guess I'd give the nod to the TSi2.  I found both equally playable off the tee or deck.  I do find the SIM2 ti easier to flight down, hit punch shots if needed.

You talking sim2 max or the ti ? I didn't find the smaller ti version to be all too forgiving. Tsi2 seemed easier to hit but I didn't really like either.

 

G425 is the best wood I've hit this year.

I went with the Sim2 (not max) 15* with AD-DI 7s...high ball flight but never balloons!  Mostly use this off the tee and generally get 235-250 yds...very happy with the set-up!
