Cally doesn't seem to care. They have said as much. Phil has been gaming the OO since last fall. Callaway has never seemed to care when Phil has gone rogue and played TM gear spray painted black such as the RBZ fairway wood and SLDR driver.

I’m sure they are working on making him something. The PING wedge led to the PM grind/ hi toe. The RBZ fairway led to the phrankenwood, so it’s possible if he keeps playing well with it there could be an OriginalEpicMavrik baby.

Wild to me that they have almost none of their players using a driver that is close to retail. I know there’s an argument that “none of the tour heads are the same” but Taylormade, Titleist, Ping staffers seem to be at least using something that resembles what is pumped out to consumers. Gotta get my hands on a Triple Diamond I guess.

Here is a link to a summary of the Callaway irons for 2021.  The Apex TCB is designed after the X Forged but is more compact, less offset and a thinner top line.  The Apex Pro (no TCB) is a closed cavity iron with microsphere filling and tungsten.

Phil has also played a Ping Anser hybrid as well. The issue is Phil is not playing well with anything.
