Club Fitting Educational Courses

I wasn't sure which forum to post this under, so I figured to start here.  I recently started working at a Big Box golf shop, and so far it seems to be going really well.  So far I’ve taken most of the vendor courses on club fitting that are supplied to our company and it’s definitely helped with my knowledge.  I’m also looking to see if further my education by taking more courses or continuing to learn on my own.  I feel like there's so much more to learn, and quite frankly I really enjoy it.  Can anyone suggest any club fitting courses to take?

Experience will be your friend, provided you back it up with factual self education.

As a long time fitter I find a lot of fitters get lost in the whole exotic shaft craze. 

Focus on the needs of the golfer. Listen to what they want to improve.

Excellent recommendations. It is very important in today's reality to find quality courses. As a university student I understand the importance of such courses and constructive information. The same goes for companies that help students. I often seek help from a company https://edusson.com/buy-biology-papers that is currently helping me with a research paper in biology. I am always sure that I can buy a research paper in biology when I have difficulties and the deadline is close.

Agree with above post. Trackman University is excellent. Understand why the ball does what it does and you're winning. 

 

Also some fantastic podcasts out there. Recent episode of "The sweet spot" by Adam Young and John Sherman had a guy called Woody Lashen on it. He spoke a lot of sense. 

 

Biggest bit of advice I can give is don't be afraid to try things. The more you do it the more you'll learn.

Sorry to be bumping my own thread, but do fitters allow other people to come in and "shadow" fittings, learn from their methods?  Just curios, there's a few places around me I'd be curious to see what their fitting protocols and methodology's are, was going to reach out to a couple of places, just didn't know if that was a normal thing.

 

I have to go through the SAM Putt Lab course, but any other general recommendations for putter fittings?

I like the Quintic for putter fitting since it focuses entirely on face angle, ball launch and roll.
