The tee for Hole #9 is right in front of the clubhouse;  #10 needs a cart ride to get there.

This is the real featured group; they just cover one group, not the customary two groups.

Actually my recollection of the USGA is they always just cover 1 group, the Masters and the PGA usually use a couple in the featured group coverage.  Although not even sure the PGA had feature group this year the network coverage was pretty stout covering both waves

Honestly I say it again, these featured groups are a much more enjoyable way for me to watch golf the first two rounds, LPGA should find a way to do this weekly for the first couple rounds.

No question, especially if at least one of your favorites is in the group.

 

However, you could see the additional investment of camera men, commentators and all other associated costs.

I also echo what people said about starting at hole 9.  Has this ever happened before on LPGA?

The rough stepped up and bit her, several times.

Obviously very early. Only 27 players have played the par 5 17th and there have been 0 birdies. Playing as the 2nd hardest hole so far.

The par 4, 5th is playing to a 4.784 stroke average so far. Hardest hole so far.

Few watch women's golf...we are lucky to get a stream from the USGA.

Maybe if the LPGA pros whine to Whan he might change that for female USGA events...you know Lewis will lead the whine....lol.
