did the lead announcer (Paige) just try to sell it that LT is in a good place coming into some other events....its the US Open she went from a career round 66 to a 75....you cant spin that any other way but a total collapse...from minus 8 and a THREE shot lead minus 3 and not even in the playoff

Problem is that she's cursed with a very average putter (being kind here). That makes winning majors even tougher than they already are.

Lexi's entire body appeared to do a "Chubby Checker twist" on that par effort on 18!  Her putting has always looked like such a struggle, especially in comparison to incredible athleticism in ball striking.  I think there's a kind of "putter head consciousness" that comes into play when you begin to have issues, and that just takes you further down the rabbit hole.  Maybe anything that can take her attention off the clubhead could possibly help things.

Rory can go on hot streaks and at least doesn’t seem to have a technically flawed stroke. Plus his short game in general is pretty good.

Too lazy, so watched the mental midget botch it up.  Signs of the collapse were going right from the 10th tee.  Even looking shaky on 14/15 one would think two par 5s to go would be plenty.  Even with the bad bogey on 16 one would think ok, short par 5 left so end this... But I guess once your brain is scrambled, there are no easy holes.
