Titleist T100 Lead Time

Titleist gave me info on my order and even gave me the order number. I’m not sure they were supposed to, but they did.

Just a quick update. Ordered a custom T100s 4-iron from Carl’s Golfland on 4/8/21. Got it yesterday, 4/19/21! (Even though website said it would be back ordered until June).

Who did you reach out too? I have an order number, but the email and zip code are wrong when I enter it on the website.

I called Titleist at 800-225-8500.  I asked to check on the status of an order for irons and they transferred me to someone who could help.

same here

 

carls had very outdated info and they were even telling their clients the same....until they spole to the Titleist club department. That cleared up a lot of old info they had on file.

you need your PO# for titleist to help you. an order # from he retailer doesnt work with them

Yup, they were able to help me out.  T100/S heads due in May 10, so a few weeks after that I should have the irons.

Well, just spoke to Titleist.  The T100-S heads that were supposed to arrive are supposedly now delayed again.  They suggested I call back next Friday and see if they have arrived.  Somehow they could not give me a date like they had in the past.  This is turning into a giant pain in my arse.  I get that there is supply chain disruption everywhere, but with rumors of a new T100S coming out at what point is enough enough and it makes more sense to cancel?

Was just told heads are now due in beginning of July.

They are going to basically lose the entire 2021 season for many of us in northern states. Unreal. It probably makes sense to just cancel the order and sit back and see what gets released this fall and then reassess the situation during winter.

I was told July date is specific to 2* upright heads, not all T100-S heads.

Posted in the other thread but I got an update late last week on my 4/14 order.  Project X 6.5's are backordered until 6/15.  T100 standard loft/lie heads backordered until 7/5.

I just got the exact same word today from my fitter.  T100S 4-P, -.5 project X shafts, 1/2 a degree Lie adjustment. I ordered 4/16, shipped last week arriving tomorrow in Maryland. Either Titleist passing the same word out or they busted out our T100S orders. I hope the latter.

Nope. I’ve called Titleist every week since 3/12 when I ordered and it keeps changing.

No they weren’t. Waiting game continues. 
 

I did receive my U500 3i and TS2 2 hybrid from 2nd Swing. Going to fit in nicely for the top end with T100s 4-P. I may have to take a degree of loft off the 3i after I check distances.

Carls had so many issues with outdated info.....they told me huge delays were happening...i called Titleist directly and heard a completely different timeline....then my clubs arrived....right on time which is what Titleist promised. Carls was shocked when they heard. They actually called Titleist to confirm the info i received was real.  Carls was great though.....very friendly, responsive and easy to work with

I ordered mine mid April - T100s, 3-PW, Project X 6.0, + 1/2", *2 upright, standard grips with 2 wraps.  I was expecting 4-6 weeks and not in a rush... Then I saw info (sooner than I expected) about the new version being tested and probable release in August. Then I see a couple threads similar to this about orders getting pushed back...  So that prompted me to call Titleist yesterday, they were able to find my order no problem and advised the heads backordered until at least 7/1. And that date has been pushed back a couple times so who knows if they actually show up 7/1 (rep on phone did not seem confident of 7/1).  After heads finally arrive allow a couple weeks for assembly and delivery.  Now I have the dilemma of why buy these at full price right before the new version comes out when I can just wait and order the new ones the first day they are taking orders?  I'm going to think about it for a couple days but I'm leaning towards cancelling the order and ordering the new ones day 1.

Ordered (through Global Golf) some T200's recently. Hoping that like others said I get these in time for summer golf season. I live in NC, so we have golf season year round as long as you can deal with 50* day time temps in the winter. 

 

I ordered CTaper Lite shafts, but their stock grips, I have seen that grips can be the hang up on some order delays. We'll see how long a lead time I have, I'll try to come back and update. 

 

 

Looks like everyone's experience above can vary largely.

Absolutely! Because it’s not the heads, it’s the shafts and grips that make the difference.

I'm sure I'm not doing myself any favors with C Taper Lite X shafts, not the most common I'm sure, but the right ones are the right ones. 

 

To others who mentioned wanting to wait for the new iron release, I feel this dilemma.

I keep finding myself refreshing my iron sets right before Titleist/Ping release their new iron line. Did this on the last cycle too, but bought Srixon Z785s which are great and I'll be hanging onto. After two years of wear its time for new irons. I don't like how Callaway/TM release new stuff every year, its gimmicky, but at least they do it in Jan so you know what they got for the year. 

With them not releasing until August (from my memory of past releases), then pre-order etc. then time to go hit them, get fit for new models, those won't be shipped until December or later likely. So I'll just have to cope with the FOMO of whatever they release in August🤦‍♂️.

Ordered T100S 4-PW on April 10th (std length, 1 degree upright w/ Modus 120 Stiff shafts and Z Cord grips). Was quoted 4-5 weeks originally and finally notified that the irons shipped on Friday. Longest hold up were the shafts apparently.

To my pleasant surprise, I ordered on 6/2 and have a tracking number saying my irons shipped 6/11.

This is shockingly fast from my custom club experience, so heck at this point I'm waiting to see if these arrive perfect as expected. Mizuno with my other order is not so fast it would appear. 

 

Order was T200's, 4-PW, CTaper Lite X flex, +1/2", std midsize grips, lie adjustment, no loft adjustment. (For reference to speculate if one thing vs. the next holds up an order)

My 5/18 date came and went.  I'm being told by Titleist mid July.  Apparently the lighter heads for the +1" were the hold up.  I was going to cancel and wait for the new ones, but said screw it.  If they get pushed back to August I'll cancel the order.

I ordered some T300s from TGW on 4/29 and the only customized part was the set was 6-PW with midsize grips. No changes to length, lie, etc. Standard AMT Red shaft. I've been given two ship dates by TGW - both have passed. It has been 8 weeks since order. VERY frustrated.
