Pro V1X Left Dash is firmly in the bag.  Sitting on a few dozen TP5X as well; I was very impressed with that ball.

I just stick with one for a period of time just to keep consistent. Right now it’s Bridgestone RX. Last couple of years it was TP5x. I’ve just liked the softer feel lately, which is why I made the switch.

As a side note, I still have not noticed a difference in balls. Unless I look at the ball I hit, I couldn't tell you what it was based on hitting it. Hell, the Callaway Chromesoft I found a few weeks back has lasted about 3 rounds (unheard of in my bag) and is still going strong. But I swear it's the 4 leaf logo that's on it.  🤣

Distance loss wasn't as noticeable as the compression sound changed when the ball was struck really well and hard in the heat.  I couldn't get any more from the ball, hitting it harder.  I call it a mushy sound and feel at impact.  I don't have that same problem with ProV1x.  It's a ball that responds to being compressed, softer feel yet gives extra distance.  I was in the desert too, where temp was over 105' that weekend.  

 

AVX and ProV1 are similar but ProV1x provides a difference.  Also, there's a quantitative difference between the past ProV1 and the new ProV1, I just don't know how to articulate what I felt, except for new one felt and sounded harder at impact. lol

’Staunch’ TM ball user since 2007 here. The just released in the U.K.; 2021 Yellow TP5X’s arrive with me Monday. Can’t wait !!

 

***So TP5X for me. Although I have been known to dabble in using TP5’s too if the mood takes me...

Not yet, only use the Softfli during fall and early spring, it is an older model but fits my swing.

From the weekend hacker perspective, I like the Oncore Avant55 I was introduced to in a package my son bought me, so have used that quite a bit.  But I recently found a Titleist Trufeel on the course, and liked the way it felt off the club a bit better (a little more firm), so have a  dozen of those coming to test.  Might also give the Srixon Z-star a try once they run out since it's close in price and I've read a lot of good stuff about it.

I have been switching between the Left Dash ProV1X and the TP5X lately.  Occassionally I will play either the Bridgestone Tour BX or ProV1X.

TP5x (2021 version) and the CX LS.  They're both good.  I don't know yet which one I prefer.  I don't like the triple track, but that's easily fixed by buying the version without it.

Normally I only play 2 Balls, Snells MTB-X or TaylorMade TP5x and now starting to play the TaylorMade Tour Response. Its really a better than anticipated.
