I think it is fun. It is basically a stock model with the white hot insert they are not charging more for it so it is basically a limited run of a stock option. Seems fairly benign.

Yes, it is his putter.  And no, its not HIS putter. This isnt meant to be a commemorative run to denote some event or anything like that where it NEEDS to be the exact specs to hang on a wall.

 

It's meant to be the same PLAYABLE specs as his putter since so many customers requested it. Keyword being PLAYABLE.

 

If you want a limited edition wall hanger with his signature on the bottom built to his exact specs, wait until he wins a major and I'm sure Callaway will oblige.

so, you're saying the actual spec putters that the guys on tour are not playable...? and that all commemoratives are wallhangers?

what EXACTLY about Rahm are we commemorating? he hasn't won a big tourney, in fact, this is a ploy from calloway to get someone they just signed to a deal some 'fresh face money' -- call it what you want or hide it anyway you want it's a bit of a joke for anyone who buys one.

I don’t care whose putter it is, I just want a 2Ball Ten with the White Hot insert for less than $1K that the Tour versions are going for on eBay.

After +10 years with #7 and WHP insert Stenson moved to 2 Ball Ten with WHP insert and is glowing on the greens this week.

PXG offers something not far from this (other than choice of insert).  Personally I think their putters are the best club they make and am surprised more people don’t use them!!
