I’m sure everyone has seen it but callaway is selling direct through their website. Ordered my first callaway in a few years, excited to see how to stacks up to my TSI3 (I’m in need of some better ball speed).

hoping to have a review this weekend

Cally's website says 4-6 weeks delivery time? They said you'd get it possibly by this weekend?

Sorry should have specified, I ordered through a dealer but wanted to point out that they are on the site. The dealer had a few in hand so I grabbed one before I had to wait. Sorry for the lack of clarity on the first post!

No worries. I was about to call Callaway when u saw ur post 😂. I’d love to hear your review when compared to the TSi3. I orders both to compare against the SIM.

I know it’s not scientific…but, for whatever reason visual, setup or placebo the Epic Speed DDD seems “easier” vs. the Titleist TSi3.  I think you are splitting hairs between these two drivers and there is no wrong answer.

Club is phenomenal... for me! For my launch conditions its the first club to dethrone my 2017 GBB SZ as something thats flat enough to help with a more right start line and it doesnt spin so little it falls out of the sky. I hit up on the ball around 3-4 degrees and my biggest issues had actually been a lack of spin and I tried to fix that by going to a higher spinning head like a normal speed or even the mavrik max from last year but ultimately the lie angle on those heads drove me nuts and they were just too draw biased.

It won't fit everyone but I now understand why its so popular on tour, as a staff Callaway player i struggled mightily finding something I liked, but this has been excellent. Most accurate driver I have ever used by a mile.

I don't think it will fit everyone obviously, but for what I do as I said above, it hit the mark in a way i've never seen before.

The Max LS surprised me with its really low spin. The other two stock heads i'm not impressed with. Did not get a chance to try the triple diamond LS as I suspected it would be too low spin anyways.

Lastly on a different note, now we just need to release the fairways, the stock fairways for any lower handicap player this year are terrible, total hook machines for me, hence why i've stuck with my Titleist fairways as you can see below.

I also just realized I posted about the triple Diamond standard in the LS thread… Woops. Sorry I haven’t tried that one.

I have an 8.5, actual lost 7.5 on the way and should be here this weekend! Can't wait to put it up against my TSI3

Please do.  I’ve got a 10.5 (10.1 actual) and it’s a beast but I’m actually trying to find a lower lofted (around 9*) to play.  If any ones got one, let me know as I love the head.

anyone have experience with aftermarket weights? I've had some of the eBay ones strip and I definitely don't want to deal with that. Just looking to source an 8 or 10 gram

I got a couple of extra direct from Callaway.  Just call them up and they should send some out.

Trying to decide between Callaway TD LS, TSi3, and original Sim driver...are they all around the same ballpark or does one stick out in your guy's opinions?

From my PoV: SIM still an incredibly quick head but for me was always very fade biased which i didnt care for. TSi3 is a great combo of pretty good forgiveness and ability to dial in flight/directional control, TD LS quick as well but for me was actually higher spinning than the TSi3. Not very forgiving on horizontal mishits. All three great drivers. Get fit. Also shaft combo is gonna play a big role in how they perform. SIM is probably highest launching of the three.

Super helpful thank you! I'm pretty set on getting a ventus black 5x and wanted to find a head to pair it up with.  Unfortunately not a single fitting studio (true spec, club champion, specialty fitters) actually carries the ventus black 5x so can't really try it out.  I'm leaning sim but the TD LS got me curious
