If anyone thinks T100 feels better than Endo forged ZX7 my only guess is that you must have a very shallow angle of attack and/or your low point is very close to the ball and you’re getting scrubby tu

You appear to be the only one in the thread telling anyone to do anything.

Here’s your little push

I hit the źx7 in a store on a matt and i was quite suprized by how harsh i thought the feel was... could just be me... could be the matt and indoor combo but other irons felt better to me in the same setting. I guess i slightly favor the 100s.... the zx7 still intrigue me though for some reason? Apparently they are a touch more forgiving too.

Agree with above. T100 feels better.

But T100 also looks so much better at address. Thinner top line, less offest.

The beauty of T100 is it performs like a cavity, but it looks and feels like a blade.

I’ve researched these irons quite a bit and have been close to buying both of them.  I think it is going to come down to aoa as to which iron will work better for you.  Those with shallow aoa seem to not get on as well with the Srixons.  It’s a shame, because those are the irons I really want but I’m a touch shallow for them I fear.  I really love the look of the sole on them, but in practice it just doesn’t seem to work as well as the t100’s for me.  I’ve only hit either of them off mats though, so take my opinion with a big old grain of salt.  In other news I do not need new irons so let me strong and not buy either of them!

The ZX7s are as soft and pure as anything I’ve hit since Mizuno. As someone already mentioned, anything Endo forged (regardless of what brand is stamped on the back of the club) is going to be pretty amazing.

From someone who has owned both (not just hit off a mat) the ZX7 is much softer than the T100. The T100’s look better from address as the top line is much thinner and the blade length is smaller.

ZX7’s are longer (stronger lofts) and I only have a couple of rounds in the books with them so I won’t give a definitive forgiveness recommendation but I will say they are very close from what I have seen this far.

I'm a long time Mizuno MP guy ( MP-18 MMC and Mp-4 are currently in-house ) and my ZX7 / ZX5 combo set feel as good as any of them.  I initially thought the Srixon's back-sides looked a little busy, but their aesthetics have since grown on me and I quite like the way they look -> they are in my #1 bag with my MMC moving to my weekend bag. That said, I will order some "MP-22 MMC"  whenever they get unveiled / released.    I friend had T100 and I found them more visually intimidating than my MP-4.

I think the big thing would be to hit off grass.  I have a -6 aoa and I had trouble finding the middle consistently - but when I did, it wasn’t as nice feeling as the Mizuno.  But, I know from the past that I prefer the Mizuno forging.

i prefer the shape of the Titleist short irons as well as the top line , and also prefer the blade length of the JPX 921 Tour as well as the top line.

As always - grass fittings are preferred.

ZX-7 is going to spin a little less.  Other than that it’s going to come down to preference on shape, sole, etc.

Feel-wise, the ZX7 is a clear winner if you like "buttery" feel without a "dense" impact sensation. If you like a dense sound profile, the T100 is great and feels good as well, just not going to have the same "butter" feeling as a japanese forging.

Someone mentioned it above, if you have a shallow AoA, T100 all day long, if you are very steep, the ZX7 will do a better job quite likely.

ZX7 also spins A LOT less (in my case 800 rpms avg) than a T100 both because of loft and construction

The ZX7 had slightly higher ballspeed at same loft

I’m talking about when looking down at them from address. If you aren’t confident then, you can’t execute to your fullest.

If they perform better for you, you'll get use to the look. I mean you wouldn't tell your 24 handicap buddy to play blades cause he liked the way they looked better would you? You tell him to play what gave him the best results...
