Ping Wedges

Any idea when the new Ping Wedges are going to be released?  Glide 3.0's are pretty much gone and I understand they are releasing new wedges to replace.

I asked this same question a few weeks ago. Nobody really had an answer.

Wow, that was quick if the 3.0 wedges are gone already. I though they were replacing the Glide forged in the summer, not the 3.0’s.

I ordered a Glide 3.0 a week or so ago (we'll see how long it takes to get). If they are "gone" as in not on store shelves, I think that is more supply chain issues than being replaced by a v4.0.

Ordered a stock red dot 54ss on 3/18. Expecting to ship 4/30 per latest update. Keeping fingers crossed.

The Glide 2.0 came out in early 2017. The 3.0 was release in early 2019. I would expect to see a 4.0 this year, but there's been no signs of one. With supply chain issues, and the big release of the 425 line, I wouldn't be surprised if the 4.0 doesn't arrive until 2022.

I was told by my Ping dealer who was informed by Ping sales reps that Glide 3.0 and forged wedges are being replaced with new models later this summer and that is why they are not being restocked in stores. Just trying to find out if anyone else has heard otherwise.

A golf buddy of mine ordered 3 Glide 3.0 wedges with his G425 irons from a Ping fitter and its going on 10 weeks and he still ha not received his wedges or his irons. He will probably get them about the time new wedges are released. Ping obviously has some severe delivery problems.

When the boat from Asia arrives with the shipping container full of Ping wedge components we will know.  It has to be a supply chain issue.  I really miss the days when Ping cast all of their own clubheads in north America.

Wishful thinking but would love for ping to bring the casting back in house at Phoenix.
