#7 style for an arc stroke, need ideas othern then Odyssey for mid mallet

Looking for something similar to the Odyssey #7 look for a stroke with some arc.  I love my Scotty Newport but need something to switch it up and want to try a non-anser style.  My putter has been COLD lately.  I absolutely loved the Scotty Phantom X 11 that is a beauty but too much $$.

 

Keep it to 'budget friendly models'.  So far I have:

 

Ping Tyne 

Cleveland Soft Premier 11 slant 

 

Any others to add to the list to look out for?

Odyssey 7s. Same head as the 7 with a short slant neck for more toe flow.

Taylormade TP Ardmore with the flow neck would fit that description as well. Love that patina finish if that's your type of thing

I use the standard, double bend #7 and have a slight arc to my stroke. I think the traditional #7 works well with a variety of strokes.

 

But, the slant neck might get you closer to what you want. 

 

On the issue of alternatives, it seems like the TM Ardmore 3 or Ping Tyne might be worth a look.

EVNROLL ER5 fits the bill. I picked one up used for $200. Single bend neck style so it has some face rotation, feels pretty good and their face tech works.

I'll second this.  You can find some very good deals on  used ones.  Look at Callaway Pre Owned as well they have been popping up their at great prices.

These are beauties.  A little more then I want to spend at the moment but on the radar for sure. I pulled the trigger on the Wilson L model for $60 experiment! I have been using my Newport for years so this will be adjustment I think if I go down this route so we shall see how it plays out.

I just got a 7s and not that happy.  Spider x makes it feel cheap and not nearly as balanced. Now looking at the Spider EX due to the new insert.

I just bought the Cleveland HB premier 11s. This putter is quite underrated IMO. Love the all black and the milling is great. This coming from someone that owns a Bettinardi QB6

This, I have a Cameron, Evnroll, Odyssey 7s, and have recently sold 7 or 8 other putters but the Wilson Staff “The L” is what’s in my bag. It would be a bargain at $250, it’s ridiculous at $99.

I bought and returned one of these.  Horrible feel IMO and very little toe hang regardless of the neck.

My first outing was interesting with this putter.  Made a birdie on #1, proceeded to hit every GIR on the front 9 and 6/9 on the back so I had a lot of good looks.  I Made 2 other birdie putts and peppered the hole all day just didn't have many putts drop.  Very stable putter.  Sounds is a little pingy and I have to get used to alignment aid vs just 1 line.  But overall it's a solid putter for sure and forgiving.  I never had a black putter before and really like the contrast and no glare.

Yeah the sound isn't perfect, with my other putters being Cameron, Evnroll, etc it takes getting used to.

I will second these Cleveland Huntington Beach series putters are very underrated. I have the “Rossie” style (can’t remember the number) in my sons bag and it’s a quality feeling putter. I’d argue much more quality feeling than the regular Odyssey’s or Taylor Made putters in most stores. The face milling is at least on mine is super soft.
