Anyone Buy Online From Carl’s Golfland?

Just bought a Scotty from them.  Usually I use TGW because I know I’m not getting a floor model.  But the site was down and I went with Carl’s.  Now I’m worried I’m going to get some beat up floor model touched by thousands of people.  Anyone buy a putter from them or single club?  What condition did it come in?

Carl's is an awesome retailer. To be honest with you I'd rather do business with Carl's than TGW.

Their Bloomfield store is about 20 minutes down the road from me and visit that location often. They are as good as it gets as a golf retailer in the state of Michigan, buy with complete confidence!

I've bought a couple of lefty Ping G425 items from them because they were the only places that had them in stock. I live in OH and both times my deliveries arrived in 2 days. The one thing they told me when I called and asked about them is that if they show it in stock on their website. it is truly in stock. I had to ask because literally nobody else had what I wanted in stock and I wanted to make sure. I would definitely buy from them in the future.

I've never used Rakuten. May have to check them out - I mean I end up spending the extra $10 rewards from GG and PGATSS on stuff I'd rather buy at Carl's anyhow. Thanks, MPA

They are 4% cash back on Capital One shopping too.  I bought a ton of stuff through them this winter and it all shipped super fast and was exactly right specs.

Repeating what others have said, Carl's is a fantastic shop. I have bought from them in person and online, great experiences all around with everything from shoes to Miura club builds. 

 

Definitely a preferable choice to TGW.

Yup. Carl's is legit. I've had multiple sizing issues with shoes and they are great to deal with.

They are within 1 hour of my house.   If their prices are competitive, I'll purchase from them over any other online retailer.    Their showroom is always full and they are really very helpful.    I did some research online and drove there to make my purchase.

If you're in their top 50 customers they send you a gift card around Christmas. Ask me how I know.

When I lived in Michigan, this was the place to buy. They have full facilities and you can demo anything. I still miss this option.

Carl's is great online or in person.  Enjoying their ads --- this could be added to the hilarious excuses --- "I can't believe I missed that 1 foot putt, pro shop must have slipped me a floor model."

I have been putter shopping looking for a good milled seven shaped putter with a short slant neck like my current EXO Seven S. I had a pre-order for a new Scotty 5.5 through another retailer when I heard it was going to be delayed and had a bit of buyers remorse and I canceled it. Fast forward to this weekend and I noticed Carl's actually showed they have a stock 34" LH 5.5 in stock (the same as my original pre-order) so I pulled the trigger and bought it last night. I already got my shipping notice and it will arrive at my house in Ohio tomorrow.

 

If it turns out that I don't like the weight balance and feel of it I have no doubts I'll be able to return it with no issues as long as I don't actually use it.

They are the best!! I’ve been shopping at Carl’s for over 40 years...their customer service is the best in the business. I recently had an issue with a special order that came in wrong and they corrected the issue to my satisfaction, without any drama!
